Excellent Replacement
I replaced the battery in my old 5X. The new battery is easily installed and the construction seems reasonably high quality. After having used my 5x for about a year, the battery is still functioning well and providing reasonable runtime.

Good Enough.
OEM battery used to last 15 days between charges. This battery lasts about 10 days. Good enough, I suppose.

This is exactly what I needed for my Garmin Fenix 5. Paired with an instructional YouTube video, I replaced the battery that the Garmin folks told me couldn't be changed. Six years of use for a $500 watch? I don't think so, Garmin...

Awesome replacement for Fenic 5X
Fairly easy install, took around 15-20 minutes, and seems as large or larger than the original battery. For the price it is awesome!

Less capacity than original
My 2017 Fenix 5X had a 430mA battery. this one is only 410mA. Consequently, it is a bit smaller and easily fits into the available space. The replacement was a breeze with Jon's Youtube video. Even though the watch is 7 years old, I did not really have battery capacity issues and a charge would still last a week with several workouts. I did have a few instances of odd shutdowns, though, and I hope that these will be resolved. The watch booted up without an issue after the replacement and the new battery is charging now. If I find that it will last shorter than the old one, I will certainly update this review.

Solid Replacement In My Watch
Installed this in my Fenix 5X a few weeks ago and after a few charge cycles I’m getting 12-14 days m in watch mode without GPS running. Time will tell in regards to its lifespan.
