Great computer...worth the money
I have really enjoyed this computer. The only thing that could be adjusted, maybe at factory, not aware of changing on my own, but the mouse pad is really sensitive and sometimes the mouse will double click inadvertently. Otherwise, fast and great screen quality.

The touchscreen functionality adds a layer of convenience and control, making navigation a breeze.Ample Storage: With a whopping 1TB solid-state drive (SSD), you'll have plenty of space for storing all your files, programs, and photos. Plus, the SSD ensures fast boot times and quick application loading.Built for Convenience: The backlit keyboard allows for comfortable typing even in low-light conditions. The inclusion of a fingerprint reader provides a secure and convenient way to log in to your laptop.Overall, the HP 2023 Latest Premium Laptop is a fantastic all-rounder. Whether you're a student, professional, or casual user, this laptop is sure to impress. Here are some additional points to consider that could be considered negative.Resolution: While the HD+ display offers good clarity, some users might prefer a Full HD (1080p) or even higher resolution display for even sharper visuals.Weight: The 17.3" size and powerful components make this laptop a bit on the heavier side (around 4.6 lbs). If portability is a major concern, you might want to consider a smaller or lighter laptop.

Great laptop for those who like to have the best on the go.
I love this laptop. It has the 17.3 large screen that is perfect for watching movies and working on multiple excel spreadsheets. It’s pretty fast (not gamer fast) for the average user. HP made it lighter than the older version pentium models. It doesn’t get hot like the older models. Battery life is average, just make sure you adjust your screen viewing sessions that doesn’t require maxing out the brightness.

Not as good as I expected, but not bad.
The laptop is OK and performs as it should.I purchased this to replace my 6 year old HP Envy 17" laptop. The old laptop''s battery swelled up, and I when I replaced the battery I put the new battery in upside down momentarily damaging the motherboard. As a result the old laptop wouldn't run on battery at all, just on AC power. Oh well, 6 year old laptop so I guess it was due for replacement. Here are my complaints with this new laptop:1) The display resolution is lower, only 1600x900. The older HP Envy laptop did 1920x1080.2) The display contrast is not as good as the old one.3) The 32" external display I always use as a second monitor also only runs at a reduced resolution.4) I had both a SDD and a HDD in the old laptop, the HDD is not recognized in the new laptop when I transferred it.5) Fewer USB ports.6) No CD/DVD drive. Here are the positives:1) Ubuntu Linux 2.4 installed and runs easily.2) The processor is fast and the system is very responsive.3) The backlit keyboard is easier to see.Summary:I probably should have spent more time looking the the specs, but this new laptop works well, and the price was great.

Great Overall Laptop
I purchased the version with 64GB RAM and 2TB storage. The touchscreen feature is a nice add on and this works well for development in Visual Studio. I’m also able to do a bit of gaming on this laptop. Games such as Apex Legends, Splitgate 2, and Rocket League run decently. More high end games like Halo Infinite will play a bit but the quality is low and will crash. Would be nice to have a disc drive and a backlight for the keyboard but overall I like it alot.

No problems
So far I have no complaints. I have used this for several months and it meets my needs. I mainly use it to edit my YouTube videos.

Love the Speed!
So far I love it due to the memory and speed. I don't really use the touch screen but I suppose it's better to have it than not should the need arise.Great brand, great look and very light at a great price.

The swapped out "upgraded" parts VOID the manufacturer's warranty, which they don't tell you
Shifty swap-outs. I got this laptop and a 4 year Asurion protection plan through Amazon, but later learned it really comes from a 3rd party seller, PConline US (440 Terry Ave N, WA 98109 is the address listed in my bill). I used the laptop for two weeks. All that time, the fan would try to come on and then turn off after two seconds, over and over again. The laptop got very hot. Many, many phone calls later (calls to Amazon, emails to PCOnline, calls to Asurion Protection Plan) I was told by Asurion to speak to the manufacturer, HP, since the product should still be under the manufacturer warranty. When I called HP, they said that 3rd party vendors swap out parts to "beef up" machines. For example, this laptop was advertised on Amazon as 64 GB RAM and 2 TB memory. HP said that model is only suppposed to have 4 GB RAM and 512 GB STORAGE MEMORY. HP says that this is a known issue, and that when sellers like this make these upgrades the new parts are not 100% compatible with other parts--like the fan. This business practice then VOIDS the manufacturer's warranty--which neither Amazon nor PConline mentioned. Luckily, I can still send this back to Amazon, which promises a refund. I think PConline should be more up front that their systems, though advertised as "new", are not new from the manufacturer. They are Frankenstein laptops refitted with additional parts and are therefore warranty-void.
