USE DISTILLED WATER - So i am only leaving a review for those that have given these a 1 star. your not using them properly. I have been able to fill 10 quart jars so far and i am not even through half the bag.There isn't suppose to be water in them - you add water in a jar and they swell up.

Very nice. I never worked with water beads before. I found they swelled evenly and quicker than the directions state. I also found they accept food coloring mixed in th ed v water very nicely and evenly. I can’t wait to see how they work in resin pieces.

This product is amazing, I gave it 5 stars because it work how I wanted it and the centerpieces looked beautiful but there were a few cons. The more water I pour the more they grew and the more water they consumed. I did 14 centerpieces so I bought 2 bags so I could have enough, well, one bag was more than enough. It grew so much that I had a bathtub full still left. I left it overnight and then used them the next day and still grew more in the vases. Maybe try to use less product.

These beads were a necessity for my centerpiece decorations. They were packaged smartly and plumped up perfectly in the vases with water. Everything turned out beautifully.

They worked as directed but they are much smaller than other beads. The result was that they didn’t “disappear” into the water like the larger beads did and there was a visual “rippling” effect of the water that I haven’t experienced with larger beads. However, you couldn’t really tell unless you looked really closely and most people won’t. I’m including a photo of one of these water beads as compared with the ones included with the pearl beads I also ordered.

These were easy to use. It does not take many of the beads to fill a quart jar. I used one teaspoon of beads for a quart jar of water. They did well when left overnight to soak and expand. They were perfect for the arrangement I needed to make it look like objects were suspended inside the vase. They were very lightweight and did not show inside the vase.

These are so much fun. And this bag makes a ton. We only used a small amount of the bag and were able to fill 11 vases with them. They will bounce everywhere so be careful. But they grow to a nice size and you have to add plenty of water.
