I noticed this product is much cheaper than equivalent products that do the same thing.Context of why I bought it:My son had a car delivered it hadn't been driven for two months. Dead of winter. The battery was dead. Not so much as a noise when turning the key.I mulled over calling the garage out but decided having one of these might be useful going forward.It arrived charged. I put a few more volts in and connected it up.Car turned over first time. Thing pretty much paid for itself right there and then.Because I never took the car for a long drive battery died again overnight.Same thing next day. Dead battery but using this it turned over first time.It now lives in the glove box and I get real peace of mind from that. My son is only young.Bonus functions - torch, usb and usbc charging capability.So, from my limited use it’s been a superb investment.Details.Car I used it on, only a little 1.0 litre engine ( so tiny).Use was almost out of the box so can’t comment on how well it holds a charge over time, for example if it was left in the boot.Great bit of kit. My experience has been nothing but positive ( battery joke in there somewhere..).

Good piece of equipment,, very handy for jump starting instead of bulky leads. Small and lightweight but packs a punch. I have used it half a dozen times to start vehicles with a dead battery but I found I had to charge it after every use as there wasn't enough power for the next vehicle, however the vehicles I was using it on where completely flat. It's also well made and quite sturdy.

I bought a new Corsa in January, but decided to keep the old Corsa for my son who is learning to drive. 3 months of sitting on the driveway. My Toyota CHR Hybrid ,uses a 12v battery to start the car ,however if you ,as an example leave the radio on, the 12v battery will lose charge and not be able to start the car ,hence requirement for roadside assistance. This car booster ,jump start power pack is a fantastic item to keep in the car, I would recommend this item to be an essential in any car ,the charging leads are short, however not really a problem as with a Hybrid ,you connect to the red terminal within the fuse box, and the black to the car bodywork supports, it will jump start the car immediately. If it is a solely fuel car ,the leads can still be attached to a standard battery to jump start. This is a very handy item to keep in the car and comes with a protective case and does not take up any room. Highly recommend
