52yrs old..First scooter purchase... Do yourself a favor..
Well so far I've put a little over 300mi on my Circooter Mate and so far it is been a blast... It has exceeded my expectations in its build, quality, performance, power, aesthetic appeal etc ... I really have no complaints or even any pet peeves to report on this thing so far.... I don't know maybe I'll get to 400 miles and the wheels will fall off and if that happens, ill update but honestly I think that this is a well-made device and it does what it promises at a very good price... Heck, for the money I have already gotten way more fun out of this thing than I have paid for and I'm just getting started..Ha!I looked at many scooters and I had a limited budget. This scooter makes me wonder how I could have done better given the money spent.I enthusiastically recommend this scooter as a VALUE and I'm sufficiently impressed with the brand that I'm inclined to check out one of their dual motors next year...unless they want to send me one that I can review ;-) .... (Considering how much I dream about a Varla Eagle One or a Nami Klima that is a real compliment)I was determined to get as much scooter as I could... and for this undeniably good price I think it would be hard to get more for the money.. single motor , especially on a fresh battery, has no problem whatsoever accelerating my 210lbs around at 25ish mph.. at least until I run the battery down to half or less ... That's when I start to notice it gets a little more sluggish taking me uphill but it still does it. The range varies of course depending on how hilly of a neighborhood I ride in and how aggressively I do so but somewhere around 20 mi is easy... The other night I did 16 and I still had two bars left if that's any kind of reference..I should also confess that I mostly leave it in turbo mode so if I drove it more conservatively it would probably perform better or for longer at least...By the way, the speedometer maxes out at 28 mph but the GPS speedometer says that on the smooth, flat, and level road with not much wind either way I can get around 24 to 25 mph which, for a first scooter trust me is plenty and it does go faster downhill but the factory display won't show it. Anyway I've had a blast riding it around streets of downtown Kansas City, especially at night. It gets looks and comments in this neighborhood were I haven't seen anything like it yet but I'm predicting that we will start to see them. Anyway I would prefer to have dual motors but, for a first scooter purchase, this thing honestly has been great so far.I try not to abuse it but scooters live hard lives and this one too has taken a few licks and it keeps on ticking so to speak. Seriously though, it's well made and it does seem to be holding up well...so far..I'm also amazed that I haven't gotten a flat tire yet considering some of the horrible things I've inadvertently ridden through.... construction areas etc... I know that the unavoidable day is coming, when I'm going to have to change a tire or tube but it hasn't happened yet. On that note I wish the tubes weren't a necessary part of the whole tire situation with the scooter but the cool-looking knobby off-road tires that it came with make it hard to complain and they have been eating up my careless choices for riding terrain. The stem is strong and with just a few repetitions it's easy to get quick at folding and unfolding it.I fold it all the time to get on and off of public transit and to take it into establishments because it will get stolen around here if I take my eyes off of it for more than 15 seconds lol ...In this town the local thieves don't have sticky fingers.... It's worse.. they have sticky eyeballs haha... Anyway this thing's a blast I am nominating it for my favorite thing I purchased this entire year.I felt the push to take video of my rides now too and not for any particular purpose but why the hell not.. get yourself one of these.I feel like a kid on it.

Review from a "Regal Sized" Guy
First off, I'm a bigger guy at 6 foot and 270 pounds. I've wanted an e-scooter for a while now. Though I love my cars, I'm realizing it's silly burning gas to run a few sub 6 mile small neighborhood errands. What's been keeping from buying one is what I have found is that some from the companies that sell them; Is that they don't list the recommended max weight or you have to dig around to find it. When I saw the max weight at 440 in the main summary and read some of the other reviews, I pulled the trigger.Upon ordering, the scooter arrived 6 days ahead of schedule. Getting it out if the box, it was simple to set up. Per the video instructions on Amazon, I tightened up the bolts a bit, let it charge to full, downloaded the app, and was ready to go.This scooter is a beast, and that's in a good way. It's heavy, rugged, and simply looks the part of a serious adult scooter. A nice touch is the bright LED headlight, the decent sized water resistant detachable storage bag, and it even has turning signals. It has an 8 inch ground clearance to match the beefy tires and for the occasional dismount off a curb.I've spent about 7 miles so far "breaking it in". All but the steepest hills aren't a problem, and even on a steeper hill around my house (about 35-40 degrees) it slows to about 10mph in standard mode.Pros:It's fast, can get to 25 mph and get there rather quickly. It can tackle most hills with a heavier driver.Range I'm assuming is decent since I haven't lost a single hash yet on the battery guage after 7 miles of riding.Based on how long it took to charge out if the box, I estimate it takes only 5 or so hours to fully charge.Feels surprisingly light while using as an unpowered traditional scooter for a bit more exercise.Handlebar "dash board" is easy to understand and use.Cruise control feature.Big ole tires and higher ground clearance for a large variety of terrains.Great value. Was alot cheaper than other scooters that had a much lower rider limit and less features.LED lamp, brake lights, and turning signals.Cons (These were not serious enough to deduct a star):Ride height. It rides pretty high if you are in the 6 foot range. So be careful of signs and tree branches as most e-scooter riding is limited to sidewalks and bike paths where avaliable in my case. This is to be expected though for a bigger scooter with bigger tires. Also, be mindful when stepping off, 8 inches to the ground can turn an ankle if you aren't paying attention. Most steps aren't 8 inches. It's heavy. Though I don't have much of an issue lugging it around, I wouldn't recommend doing that if you are smaller or have health conditions. The ride is a bit harsh on rough paths and sidewalks. Again, not terribly surprising considering it will take a while for the heavy duty suspension to mellow out, plus you have big tires are solid rubber vs inflated with air. Even so, it's a heavy duty scooter, so there is going to be some compromise on terrain that isn't perfectly smooth. I knew that going into to the purchase. The cruise control. Yes, I listed this as a pro, but it's also a con. It's a pro on even smooth terrain. However, it can kick in on less than ideal terrain, which I don't want, lol.Final considerations:Wet grass. Yeah, don't do it. Just don't.Be careful on poorly maintained sidewalks and paths. The tires wont act like inflated tires if you have a section of sidewalk sticking up as you approach and the suspension is a bit too tight to compensate. So you'll get a brutal jarring bump or possibly crash if you hit that section of sidewalk at speed. Either slow way down or briefly hop onto the street in a safe manner. Even before that, get an idea of the path you'll take it on. The big solid rubber tires are great in that you'll never get a flat tire, but at the same time, you aren't going to fare well if you aren't paying attention on a rough path going at a high rate of speed.I haven't taken this on off road bike paths yet due to recent rain, but it seems more than capable of the job.Overall, this is an awesome scooter. I can skip the awful local traffic and not waste gas going just a few miles away from home. It's sturdy, fun, and I'm glad it's a good option for those who shop in the big and tall section.
