No lock was in the box. A slip pin will allow your load to be stolen in only a minute.
I will buy a lock to replace the slip pin that came from Amazon. This is necessary for security of your load.

Appears to be made in same Chinese factory as the Curt 18153
This rack is a big step up in quality from the old Harbor Freight / Haul-Master 62660, 56120 folding rack I had that was damaged when someone hit it. That one was rated at a generous 750lbs, but this one at 500lbs appears much stronger.I intend on sleeving the rails at some point to increase rigidity and capacity, but so far this one is a lot sturdier and rattles less than the old HF one...tho I have not beaten on it as much yet. Sleeves would be from 5/8" square (outside) tubing and about 48" long to span as much of the middle as possible...in case that helps someone.
