Q: Does the tape pull off easily, and without destroying existing wall paint? I need it for a flower wall at a reception venue.

I'd does not haha. If you're lucky you can maybe heat and floss most of it off. That's worked a few times for us. But typically we just bet on having to fill and paint the spot it was hanging after removing whatever it was holding. Which isn't a big deal if you plan to do that anyway when exiting an apartment, but would be inconvenient I think if you want something that can be removed easily.

Q: What is the materials thickness? don't say 1 inch that is the width

It can be used outdoors, but we would not recommend using it in areas where it would be susceptible to heavy/continuous rain fail, moisture, etc..
