Very good quality represents medditarian flavour i tried all kind of olive oils from amazon india but colavita is good in its class.I use colavita extra virgin olive oil for cooking and for dressings

Good quality but price is higher than last year. We pay Last year about 6000/- but this year we pay 7400/-

Well I lived in Italy for 32 years and now residing in New Delhi feel lucky. fully satisfied with the quality of olive oil. With this I would like to take the opportunity to suggest/recommend/request the Amazon to please see if you guys can add Italian Panettone which will have great success as here in Italian Embassy whenever we meet everyone is talking about the only product we don't find in India is Authentic Panettone made in Italy and not Indian Panettone which is just horrible.

Bad product

I have been using olive oil for last 16 years. I have used all brands - Kirkland Signature, Borges, Disano, Ferrel, Figaro, 5 Valles, DelMonte, Leonardo, Fiordelisi, and other brands sold in India. I have never seen such an authentic olive oil as this one. I can bet, Ferrel extra virgin, which is packed by Jindal Retail is actually mixed with Olive Pomace oil, while you pay for the "extra virgin". Similarly, other retailers, like Mahindra, or Futures Retail import extra virgin and pomace oil in containers -- mix them together (which they call it blended extra virgin olive oil) and then sell in the market as extra virgin. While you pay for teh extra virgin, what you consume is a low grade pomace olive oil, which is unhealthy because its fatty acid has already converted due to the application of heat (pomace). None of the above brands of olive oil actually smell like olive oil forget about the taste. When you taste all the other brands mentioned above you will taste something like stinky old mustard oil (or rancid oil, which happen due to conversion of fat in oil when you keep it for long -- called rancidification). The Cola Vita actually taste like and smell like and appear like (greenish) extra virgin olive oil. Remember, I am telling this after 16 years of use and trying multiple brands. Go for it -- you can never be wrong.

Good taste, requires less quantity of oil than normal oils.

Very nice authentic and genuine product. The aroma makes you feel that you are actually in olive garden. Firstly I bought half litre of this product to test and bought 5 litre. I'm using it for cooking because olive oil is high in good cholesterol and makes healthy heart and life. Take this for your parents. Packaging is very bad, steel box got severe dents.
