Panasonic CTL920F Solar Rechargeable Battery Replacement Watch Cell Casio

I was very happy to have found this. It kept me from having to buy a new watch. Installing this battery/capacitor fixed my watch. Just remember to "reset the watch internally after installation.

My GSHOCK of 15 years couldn't hold charge for more than 24HRS any more, got this battery after opening the watch and seeing the model, could not change it my self however, carried it to a watch servicer he changed it and cleaned the inside as well as put some mineral oil and changed the gasket for me, my watch is like new again!! Hopefully for another 15 years

Oh my! Thank you Amazon! I was skeptical of what kind of battery was needed for my Casio Edifice watch with a rechargeable solar battery. And the battery was exactly THE ONE! The watch instructions were a little outdated but once I pulled the original battery it was exactly the one that came through Amazon. I could not be happier! Perfect replacement for the original, made in Japan, battery on my solar Casio GW-3500B with 5173 movment.

This is the replacement battery for this Casio model.It is very expensive and very slow delivery.This battery works and on that basis I would recommend this battery. The price is too high.

Doesn't have or hold a charge. I think this could be a 10 year old battery, even if it says "New" on the yellowed bar code label. I loved my $180 (?) solar powered Ediface Casio watch that I bought ~2012. I understand it wasn't a price point that sold a lot. So it seems the Panasonic CTL920F battery that it used was non-standard, as they are hard to find now. I suspect no one has made new ones for many years. I expect that ANY you buy will be bad. I've bought just two, either would hold a charge more than a 5min., even after 24 hours under a light + bright sun during day. My watch used to charge sufficiently from ambient light, just on my wrist, and I usually wore long sleeves to work. If the company believes they have a valid working product, instead of retired inventory they are trying to dump, send me a good working battery (I will gladly pay the listed price) and I will change this review. I don't think there are good working batteries. This may infact be scavanged used batteries, since they are not in original packaging.

This added new life to my Casio Solar watch. I have a Casio Solar Waveceptor watch that is several years old. It wasn't holding a charge any more.Bought this rechargeable battery (note: It's NOT a capacitor!!!!!) and made the swap. Voila! Watch is back working just like new!
