Really cannot say enough good things about these measuring cups. We previously used a set of plastic measuring cups, and when the handle snapped off on one while trying to scoop out a cup full of sugar, we decided to toss the whole set and try out a stainless steel product. I'd never heard of Bellemain before searching for these, but picked these based on the fantastic reviews. The price was a little higher than some competitors but nonetheless, all the reviews seemed to indicate that they were the ones to get.When they arrived, I thought they looked a little cheap in the packaging to be honest...they just come in a fairly plain looking cardboard box that is eerily reminiscent of lower cost import products. But I quickly forgot about that after removing them from the box. The design of these measuring cups is pretty much perfect. The measurement on each one is stamped into the metal handle, so you'll never have to worry about it fading away or wearing off. The cups have a little "nub" on the front of each so that they stack great in a set and lay flat, so they don't take up much space or pop up to jam kitchen drawers like some other sets do. The stainless steel is the perfect thickness...not too thick to be annoyingly heavy, but thick enough that you can tell these things could take a beating and still last for many, many years.Some other reviews had some concerns about the handles being too short. I'm 5'11" with slightly larger than average hands, and I didn't find the handle length to be an issue at all. Still plenty long to easily get a comfortable grip on even the smallest measuring cup. I actually found that I appreciated the short handles, because it makes them much easier to fit in our utensil drawer.All in all, easy five star rating for me. They clean up perfectly whether by hand or in the dishwasher, the measurements are accurate, and I can tell that these will withstand any abuse I throw at them. I'd be surprised if I buy another set of measuring cups anytime in the next 25 years.

These measuring cups are exactly what I've been looking for. I'm tired of plastic cups that can be so frustrating. I've had ones with handles that would break when scooping out something firmer than flour, like brown sugar. Also a pain is when the printed measurements would fade away over time and use. These thick, high-quality stainless steel cups could very well end up as an heirloom someday. I think they're that durable! And the measurements are ENGRAVED on the good-lengthed handles with cheery colors added and are so easy to read. At this excellent price, add these measuring cups to your gift for a future, young bride, or better yet, gift yourself!

I just received my set of Bellemain measuring cups today and really appreciate the sturdiness and large numerical measurements on each cup, which are very easy to read. The cups are also constructed very well, stackable/space-saving and easy to thoroughly clean. There are also no deep crevices under the handles or outer rims, in which measured ingredients may become sticky and pose possible contamination risks.

I wanted a 2/3 and 3/4 cup containers. I didn't really want to pay $20+, but I did. So glad I did. These measuring cups are very sturdy and nestle really well . They take up far less room that any other measuring cups I've ever had. Since I plan on having them a long time, this is very useful. Would buy again.

Very sturdy, handles won't bend. Convenient design to scoop and sweep on every size. Non-reactive stainless steel. Stamped measurements won't wear out. Nested design to clip and hold them together and save space. Flat bottom. One piece for easy cleaning.I don't think I would change a single thing about this set!Got them along with matching Bellemain measuring spoon set, which I won't review here, but like just as much.

Pros:*Great size- they nest easily within each other and it fits nicely within the drawer.*They are not flimsy or bendable in the least! At the same time they are not super heavy which might make it hard to use!*Measurements are clearly marked. As they are engraved I don't expect it to wear off like some painted options out there.*Stainless Steel- easier to clean than plastic options.Cons:* The edge of the cups are slightly sharp. While I haven't cut myself on them, the sharp points do scratch if you aren't careful. It was unexpected and I would rather have a beveled edge like I assumed was there from the picture.Side note: I was worried the small handles would be uncomfortable or problematic but so far I think it is fine. But I do have small hands, so that should be taken into account. It shipped quickly and was packaged neatly. I would recommend just tossing the little chain they have to connect them all. It is more of a hassle than a help, but it was easy to detach and throw out.

Bought this set to replace plastic as we are eliminating plastic from our cooking as much as possible. The handle had come off our previous metal one cup measure. This is really lovely. Sturdy, well made, good solid feel and attractive. I did reattach the chain to only be on the one cup measure so I could use each one separately. That was very easy and could be put back to all if I desired. Got good reviews and I give it one also.

I bought this set because it has no sharp corners, engraved measurements in both English and metric units, and more measurements than most. The only thing I find a little bit odd is the protrusion that helps the cups stack nicely. When I use a cup to extract an ingredient from a bag, the protrusion seems a little bit in the way, but it's not really a problem. It wouldn't keep me from buying the set again or giving it as a gift. It's a very nice set.
