She just arrived and she is so adorable!! This is a really pretty doll! Her hair is short, soft and curly. Her body is well assembled, and has the weight and smell of a real baby. This will be my 8 yr old daughter's best Christmas yet! Very Pleased!!

I purchased this for my niece for Christmas, who loves Baby Dolls and without fail she was in love with this doll, everywhere we go people ask us where did we get this doll because it looks and feels so real. She is gorgeous. Unfortunately, her hair is a problem it does not come as pictured. It comes looking like they have already played with it, dumped it in water and dried out. It is almost an insult to African Americans because the hair appears to be nappy.(as if to portray African American hair) I sincerely hope that this was not the companies intention. My niece actually did some research and googled it on YouTube to see other babies and this appears to NOT be an accident that others noted the same about the hair, even some of the amazon reviews indicate some problem with the hair. Other than that the doll is awesome, It's going to be difficult to return as my niece is in love with this doll and does not want to return it despite the hair. My money has been returned but unfortunately they are no longer making this doll. While this is no reflection on Amazon, it is unfortunate and Ashton Drake needs to fix this and/or describe the hair better. Money does nothing for tears!

I read the reviews and got a little scared to buy her because some of the doll pictures post are UGLY. I took a chance and got her and i am so happy I did. She is precious. Her hair is authentic looking. WOW. some people are so negative. If you are contemplating purchasing her, I highly recommend it.

This doll feels like a real baby. The weight and “skin” are pretty authentic. My daughter loves to play in her hair. Suri (the name my daughter gave her) goes with us everywhere. She initially asked for the doll that they take your actual baby pictures and make a custom doll, but I’m not paying $1500 for a doll. This was the best alternative because of the price but also because the quality is so good she doesn’t care about the other one anymore.

Very nice hair, smells like baby powder and makes the cutest little cooing sounds. My granddaughter’s (6 yrs old) favorite doll. She also has a Baby Reborn but the Ashton Drake doll has much nicer hair. Wears real newborn baby clothing.

This doll is suppose to coo. Negative, the one I purchased didn't. Over all its a beautiful soft baby but I felt I was ripped off. Maybe I got a defective one but with the money I senp on it a I felt upset it didn't work. We are not big on gift for Christmas gift so the one gift that my daughter recieved didn't work. Total disappointment.

My granddaughter loves it so much and it even felt like a real little baby so I highly recommend this .!
