These are a fun concept. I can see that they most likely won't work for most staircases due to a lot of stairs or carpeting. However, I own a tri-level and my stairs look similar to the picture where there are only 6 until you reach the next the level. These were a little too long so I had to trim them. They were easily cut and easily placed on the stairs. They are also easy to peel off and re-stick given the first time you put it on you will most likely have some bubbling or it won't be perfectly centered. I don't believe that I can save these somewhere for next year though so will just been peeling them off and throwing them out afterwards. Will I spend $26 a year on these? Mostly likely not but they are a fun idea and add some extra decor to an area thats left looking a little less plain around the holidays. Will come back and update if any paint peeling occurred after the holidays.Came back two years later to buy these again. As an update, they did peel the paint off!! So they got a nice fresh coat after the holidays. Might try to use sticky tac this year, if not probably get repaint again.

Really easy to apply though you may need to reinforce it if the surface isn’t completely smooth like mine.But looks real. Even my 23 year old son says it looks real and is “super cool”. Normally I get the eye roll with my creations, so you decide.Painted the stair treads black and got cheap rug treads (from Amazon of course). All in including paint for $80.

This is a completely smooth coated paper. The description of “3D” is misleading. Taking a photo of something that’s 3 dimensional and stamping it on a piece of flat paper doesn’t make the paper become 3D. It’s still a 1 dimensional piece of paper. Ordered this to cover the risers on the front stairs which are seen when first entering my house. The point was to make them look classy. This would not accomplish that. Returning immediately. Very disappointed.

The length of the decal is much longer than length of my stair. Due to the design if I cut the side to correct length it ruins what the picture looks like. Must return but Color & vividness of design is beautiful.

This is our 3rd year ordering these stair decals for holiday decorating. The product quality has changed for the worse. Previous 2 years they easily peeled off - they were on the same amount of time this year (approx. 1 month) under identical circumstances.This year they were hard to pull off and left our maple stair risers so gummed up that we are having to spend 1/2 hour per riser using GooGone and scraping the sticky residue off.Won’t be ordering them again next holiday season.

Went on great and smooth stayed up all season. When I when to take them off it was great. I had bought others from another company and when I took theirs off it left all the glue in the stairs, but not these. Definitely recommend.

I don't typically write reviews so you know that it's bad when I spend my time to write one. BUYER BEWARE!!! We've used similar products in the past and they've been wonderful. Easy to stick and no-hassle removal. I'd rate this as a 0 if I could. Two reasons - first, the sections were not in the proper order when removing from the packaging so I put them up in the wrong order. I'm fine with that being user error. However, after having them on the stairs for the holiday season, they left the stair risers completely covered in adhesive and pulled paint off in other areas. No other similar product has ever done that. I'm now on my 3rd hour cleaning the risers to remove the adhesive so I can repaint the stairs. I would NEVER recommend this product or use it again. HORRIBLE!
