We recently purchased the white Hisense 5S 12kg load Washing machine (WF5S1245BW) from Amazon.The amount of programmes on offer far exceed our requirements. The machine cleans clothes really well, but some programmes exceed 2 hours, some up to 3 1/2 hours.What we (and most people) require is the option of a relatively short wash and a 1400 spin, which unfortunately isn’t an option with this machine. The Quick 15 wash turns to a 30 minute wash when using a 40 degree (maximum) wash and 800rpm (maximum) spin cycle, which is not ideal when using the dryer. To combat this, I carry out a separate (12 minute) spin at 1400rpm after the main programme has finished.If you have the matching Hisense dryer, you can use the WashDry Sync option which transfers the wash programme to the dryer.The programme we find works better for us is the auto wash as it weighs your clothes, washes and dispenses detergent and softener as required. Using this option, you can have a 1400rpm spin and a wash in normally under an hour (depending on load size). Also using this programme, you can add extra options: prewash, steam, extra rinse etc.To date we have not used the steam function, but I will do an update once this has been used.The auto dispense detergent and softener really help and we have now moved to liquid detergent. Up to now we have only used the auto dispense option, letting the machine decide how much detergent and softener is required during each wash. Using this setting, the softener required refilling after 5 days (10 loads), but the detergent remains pretty full (we have always said we use far too much detergent and softener, and hopefully the amount we use going forward will reduce). The amount of detergent and softener used during each wash can be changed in the settings. If you like using scent booster pellets and/or Oxy powder, these can be added to the main (powder) detergent drawer each wash.The ConnectLife App is a great addition but requires an update as remote access to the machine is removed after each wash when the washing cycle finishes and the machine shuts down. You have to re authorise the remote access to the ConnectLife App from the machine using the connect button, which defeats the object of being able to use and monitor the machine remotely.Having used the machine for six days, it is a great product but not without its faults/niggles.Of note, we also purchased the ‘matching’ white Hisense 5S 10kg load Dryer (DH5S102BW) which sits next to the washing machine in our utility room. We are very disappointed that the washing machine and dryer are different shades of white even though they are both 5S models and are advertised as a matching set. If these were on display in our kitchen, I would very disappointed with the difference in shade of both appliances.Beware of the colour shade difference if purchasing the matching dryer.

I bought this as a temporary substitute but I think I won’t buy another washing machine as this is really great!It has all the settings you need and the display shows how long each settings takes which is very convenient.The best thing about this washing machine is that it really is so quiet. Even the spinning process was quiet at higher spin. I never knew I unconsciously felt stressed over the noise of a washing machine until I used this one, the whole experience was so pleasant.It washes clothes so much better than my previous machine as well. I use exactly the same detergent and softener but the clothes come out so much fresher and smells better too.Overall, I can’t be happier with the product. I definitely recommend this over other brands around the same price range.

I’m happy with this washing machine, except for the time length of the washes which are crazy up to 3 hours on some, i bought it for the steam wash program, the price and the reliability of the brand as its stands up to some of the top ones in technology and durability.I use the dark wash 1 hour and 20 mins quick wash the most and steam wash for beddingI wish there was a half time function like bosch do but there isn’t. So we’ll see how long it lasts, i use the drum clean at 90 c once a week to get rid of any gunge or residue , i put smol pods straight into the drum and i don’t use softener which can cause build up , i use calgon tabs weeklyI wash twice a day and it’s doing ok so far, i might choose a machine with better programming like aga or bosch next time . This machine is robust and spins fine and for the price on Amazon it was a winner. I paid for fitting and removal and everything was fantastic a brilliant service . I am a single mother and I’m very happy with the service.4 stars for the programs , otherwise 5 for everything else.

Never thought I'd review a washing machine.It's one of those household items I take for granted until my old one gave up the ghost and needed to find a replacement. My old Hoover gave me a good 6 years and did consider getting another (but they just looked ugly) :-) Came across this Hisense and thought I would take a chance, after all My new TV is from the same company and is great.The machine itself is heavy at 77kg but in my mind gives it more stability. It is quiet, especially when spinning. The app I thought would be a gimic and was reluctant to sign up, but so glad I did. Once you find your way around it, it has some handy features. I like that I can set up my own programs or chose favourites to quick start, and the app will suggest the most economical wash for your load (it will ask you a couple of questions first) and of it goes.There weird part for me was basically emptying a bottle of detergent and a bottle of softener into it, as it will sort the dose out according to weight and selected programme, though it did message my phone to tell me I did not put enough softener in.The end result was a good clean wash, a handy app and the fact that I can remotely control the washing.Never thought I would highly recommend a washing machine, but here we are.

Will definitely be recommending to family and friend washing machine is fantastic works like a dream and haven’t had one fault with it had it 6 month know,cheaper than anywhere else so u was expecting a few scratches etc,but nope it was totally brand new in box,it look amazing Variety of programs:easy to use and has program I’ve never used yet, to can download an app and create your own wash cycles which is great,
