After having my Dell Inspiron for 5 years, and the battery no longer working, I thought I was going to have to buy a new laptop, but this battery saved me. The original Dell battery in my laptop no longer worked. If the laptop was not plugged in the laptop wouldn't even start, and if it did, within seconds it would go out and have me doing all sorts of things to get it to turn on again. I use my laptop all day for work and it was a pain to have to connect it to do even the smallest thing. Other than the battery issue this laptop has been great and would love to get more use out of it before buying/investing in a new one. With the CPY Laptop Battery that will now be possible. The price is more than worth it, especially since Dell charges three times as much.When I got the battery I popped it into my laptop, charged it for about an hour (although it had charge straight out of the box), and worked for 5 hours straight without having to plug it in again. Absolutely love it!!

I have a 6 yr old Dell Inspiron 5758 computer. The battery stopped charging so I ordered this one based on the reviews. It literally took me 10 seconds to take the old one out and put this new one in. The battery was 100% charged and it lasted 4 hours. I am extremely happy with this purchase.

I was afraid to buy due to many people online saying generic batteries tend to explode or mess your computer, this one performs 80% of what the original used to but to one forth of its price so you cannot go wrong with this one, I have been using a year with no issue and no crazy amount of degradation on battery life, I use my laptop to work everyday and still going strong.

It fit fine and worked fine for 7 months but then suddenly stopped holding a charge. They claim "Worry-free Warranty: We guarantee to offer 12-month warranty and 24*7 friendly customer service for any of product from CPY". How do you contact them? They don't have a website. They don't have any links to a support site or phone number.Update: Contacted seller via the Amazon site. They will not reply back. Do not purchase anything from this supplier. They will not back up their warranty.Another Update: Contacted the seller again. Still no reply. Never purchase anything from this seller. They will not honor their warranty.

VERY fast shipping! when I put in the new battery it was at 42% charge but it wasn't charging up. I saw this solution on other websites. So I followed these steps: Shut down the laptop. Remove battery and AC adapter from laptop. Press and hold power button for 1 minute. Plug AC adapter without the battery. turn on the Computer. Goto Control Panel, then Device Manager, expand battery entry, right click, uninstall ACP /compliant control method battery. Wait a few minutes, shut down the laptop. unplug AC adapter and put the battery back in. Start the laptop. Wait a few minutes. Shut down the laptop again. plug AC adapter with the battery still in the laptop. Start the laptop. This may help some people.

Bought one 3 years ago when the original died, worked great all 3 years then died suddenly. But that is a good run for this price. Same exact one is still on Amazon so I bought another. Too soon to tell if it's gonna last that long again but seems great.

This was a replacement battery for the Dell Inspiron I use in my tow truck mostly for running my Streets & Trips map program. When new I had no problems running all day even on a busy day when it got heavy use. Now it barely makes it to the end of the day even on a slow day when it is often idle or asleep, often running out of power before I'm done for the day. Won't buy this brand again, trying someone else's, not going to bother with hassle of warranty.
