A Spiffy Bag
Not too bad! Thanks for this wonderful gift used to reward my son. He is now a licensed foster parent in a county setting so use of natural leather is a perfect fit for him. He loves it for court appearances or other related business.

Unhappy with the quality
Use the bag to carry my laptop, three days a week. After 5 months the buckle snapped off. Love the design, very disappointed with the quality and durability. Return window closed, now I have to find a shop that can fix this.

Poor construction or oversight for quality control.
The style and size were great. However there was glue Oozing out of the seams. It was returned.

but the odor...
I guess it has an odor from the tanning process, but its extremely strong. I left the bag out in the garage for a week and the odor was still there. Perhaps you won't mind as much as i do, because it definitely makes it seem much more authentic. Still, I think I'll need to let it air out for a bit longer before I use it much. The fasteners are a bit of a conundrum. They are mostly metal, which is normal for a leather bag. But, being metal, they don't work as "smoothly" as most plastic snaps. I have some concern about if it gets some water damage. They don't seem to be very high quality metal. The construction otherwise is very good. Its a very manly bag. My wife immediately turned up her nose at it, stating it was too large and too masculine, despite the sellers title encouraging women to use it. She's also 5'1" and 120 lbs so it does dwarf her a bit.I would recommend it if you are looking for a traditional leather bag and are willing to accept the low quality metal fasteners.

Workable Bag
The looks of the bag are different than the one in the image. The leather is rougher and more textured than I imagined. It's not as handsome of a bag as the pictures implied. That said, so far for me, it has been useful. It holds my HP work laptop, a portfolio easily. I wasn't sure the pocket under the flap would be horribly useful, but it is deceiving as it also holds the power cord, a charger for my iPhone, bluetooth wireless earbuds/case/charger. The outer, backside pocket easily holds pens, wallet, keys, granola bars, etc. When I opened the box, I wouldn't sure it would hold any of that, so I'm pleasantly surprised. It seems sturdy, so I don't think holding up will be an issue. My one beef is what I have with most cases: ones with snaps don't stay in place, one with inserted snaps always have broken quite easily. These have buckles, which will hold, but aren't always the most convenient to close or open - but that's a minor problem.

If I could rate it zero stars, I would. Complete garbage. Do not buy.
Inconsistent leather thickness, misaligned stitching, thread-tangles on finished sewn areas, the SMELL of poorly cured leather, poor design, and most importantly the useless strap clips. When I opened this, I was underwhelmed by the apparent materials and construction quality, and really off-put by the strong smell, like an acid or ammonia (presumably from the tanning process). I've owned a LOT of leather products, and none of them smelled this bad; not on arrival, not if they got wet, not under any circumstances. I let this air a LONG time before use, and while it decreased slightly, it never went away or even decreased to 'unnoticeably mild'.After quite some time, I decided 'this is as good as the smell is going to get', and put into the bag the following:Two power bank batteries, about the size of an iPhone 8+ but slightly thicker and heaver. *slightly*Four pieces of paper. Not even stapled together. One USB cable, micro-USBOne single-port USB power block.Under this immense load (not EVEN a laptop in this laptop bag, mind you) on THE FIRST use, I got all of two streets from my front door before the useless clip pulled off the under-crimped ring that held the whole 'load bearing' assembly together, and thus the strap to TWO ends of the bag. As a consequence, the thing flew off one side and out, away from me into the street I was crossing. FORTUNATELY, I have a habit of holding onto the strap when it's up on my shoulder, so it didn't go flying off into oncoming traffic, and I reacted quickly without stumbling into said traffic myself. But I can't help feel that a LAPTOP BAG ought be designed in a way that it can HOLD A LAPTOP without falling apart, if not forever, at least for a reasonable warranty period.I would never buy anything from this company, after this experience, and I would urge anyone considering doing so to NOT do so. Do yourself a favor and either buy a sturdier Targus nylon bag, or a more expensive leather option that's not complete garbage.

Good solid material that wears well with use
The messenger satchel can be a bit awkward to use when you first get it but it does soften with use. Because it is much wider than what I was used to, I felt that I had to be always aware of it so that I didn't bump into people/walls/tables/chairs/any obstructions that I walked by. It took a bit to get used to as my other messenger back was softer material and hugged my body.I did fit my Alienware laptop (just barely but it did fit). The strap was long enough to wear crossbody which was a big help so that I could swap from side to side to ease the weight on my shoulders. There's enough pockets and content area that I could pack up and take everything I needed with me (cords, power bricks, laptop, phone, chargers, notepads, mouse, USB attachments, papers, pens, and printed materials and books).I love it.Because it is larger - you can pack more into it. I'd be aware that the more you put in the heavier it is -- that weight is going on one shoulder or the other. I pared down to what I absolutely need when going out of my office for the day (I work at home usually) but it does have the room when I need more options and flexibility when working away.
