It.. just.. works . .
Nuff said... Gasket + Hylomar = Job Done....... Could feel and see it working before I'd even coated the reverse of the gasket... Hope that helps ...

Blue Hylomar
I tried many other similar products to try to get an effective oil tight seal on a cover plate where I had removed a mechanical fuel pump on a 1952 Sunbeam Talbot. Nothing seemed to work and I was recommended to use Blue Hylomar but to make sure that it was fully cured (by leaving it for at least 5 minutes before assembly). Success at last - it’s brilliant! Good value for money since a little goes a long way.
