Stainless Steel Travel Mug with Slide Lock Lid 400ml

Well designed, deep lid, makes it much easier to drink from. Less tippy than 10 year old model I still have. While not spill proof, it won’t allow the whole cup to dump if knocked over - just minor leakage. As I am extremely clumsy due to neuropathy, this is very important.

We had an older (30 years) version of this travel mug and loved it except for the fact it was a little top heavy and tended to tip over. This new version seems to have solved this issue. However, the plastic at the bottom of the mug separates slightly when washing and allows water to seep in. This results in water leaking back out. You have to be aware of this to avoid dribbles on your shirt. Otherwise, it’s a good overall travel mug.

the lid cover doesnt stay open, so drinking is a little odd because you have to hold it open for liquid to flow.

I am a second generation original Thermos brand thermos coffee, hot soup drinker, and hot food consumer. I much prefer the glass or silicone lined versions especially because there is no metallic aftertaste to their contents. The best, hands down, are the genuine glass lined Thermos brand (the "thermos" originators) thermoses, but they break entirely too easily. I ordered two from Amazon last year that were so poorly packed and arrived so broken that I could use them as Maracas. They were so broken, glass dust was literally leaking from the closed top, and a piece of glass lodged in my foot. The ultimate insult was that the vendor wanted me to return that mess if I wanted a refund, which I never did, and purchased a set locally, which I hand carried. Anyway, I have very obviously digressed.Yes, for those whiners out there, this cup does not keep your hot coffee hot for more than 4 hours -- it's only a little more than a coffee cup with a lid on it to keep your drinks from spilling, which is what it does, and they may leak from the top a little if knocked over, but I like them anyway. This is nothing more than a single wall, foam insulated, cup, which probably allows air in through the slide at the top of the cup. Frankly, I have never had a good cup of coffee that ever lasted with me for four hours because I drink or sip my coffee as soon as it begins to cool, however, when I need to keep hot liquids for more than four hours, my go to is my Stanley 40 ounce. I really like these cups when piddling around the house, or going outdoors and reading a book or newspaper. I'm using one of these travel cups right now while drinking coffee mixed with chocolate and watching the snowplows do their work. My coffee is so good that it never got a chance to get cold.

Wouldn't keep my black coffee hot for more than 20 minutes!!

The media could not be loaded. I wish I had checked before using the mug. The bottom band was cracked. It doesn’t prevent me from using it but I’m not sure how long the bottom piece will stay on.Quality of the material feels inexpensive.Thermos company usually makes better quality items.It didn’t keep my coffee warm past an hour. My regular coffee cup keeps my coffee warmer than this mug.The bottom piece of plastic fell off and it showed the inside surrounding of the mug. I was shocked at what I saw. See photos.Do not buy this mug.

I have not and will not ever use it it is to small

Purchaed for Christmas & just opened today. One was damaaged & the other was fine but-it is passed the return date .Sorry I did not open it to check when I purchasedf-I assumed they were good condition
