Nicely finished plain lightweight box with clasp and hinges fixed firmly and doing their job. Made from pine and ply wood it's ideal for the project I have in mind to house those extra devices that laptops no longer are supplied with i.e. DVD drive, external storage drive, USB docking station with multiple different sockets to attach other devices. The box itself will act as a base on which the laptop can sit hiding all the connecting leads ands wires that accompany external devices. The pine walls will be soft enough to cut to accommodate the facia of the DVD drive, docking station and port holes for the connecting leads. The smooth finish of the box is acceptable as it is but would lend itself to painting or varnishing. Overall I'm very happy with finding the right size box and although a little expensive for the quality of materials used, as it suits my purposes feel it is an acceptable price to pay.

It was just what I hoped for.

I'm using the 29.5 x 22.5 x 8 cm to neatly house in a porch protected from the weather some waterproof electrical gear including a transformer for garden lighting.I've painted the box but would not rely on it to house electrical components that were not themselves waterproof.For this use I found I needed to replace the original hinges which are very lightweight with something a little more heavy duty. This was very easy to do, as the original hinges did not even need to be removed.The clasp for closure is pretty lightweight too but I expect will serve its purpose for a good while as the box will mostly stay shut now it's installed.The box seems soundly made but as I was securing electrical components inside it I found its walls were just a tad too thin to comfortably take small screws without them penetrating. For the lighter component, a PIR switch, I used velcro to attach it to the inside.I liked that a range of sizes were available.

I brought this to store my medication, also I wanted a container that fitted in my kitchen drawer. Worked like a dream. However the clasp is useless and doesn't stay securely closed. I think that it's overpriced irrespective. Delivery was days early. One question, if the delivery is stated say 5 days in the future, what happens to it if Royal Mail deliver when you aren't home? Does the postie know your specific delivery specification?

Arrived sooner than expected. Good quality sturdy box. Possibly a bit pricey but is superior to other boxes I have looked at.

I use the box to keep my rolling pin away for hygiene purposesIt just the right box neatly fits into my cabinet just the right size. Love it
