Great bang per buck
While this board is primarily targeted at business and institutional use (which implies that reliability was emphasized in its design), it's also ideal for general purpose home and student computers, at a price that can't be beat. I bought two boards, along with $70 E5400 CPUs, to upgrade a couple of old eSystems boxes at minimal cost and ended up with very nice machines that I'd use for anything short of high-end gaming. I plan to buy another one for a home theater PC.Although the Socket 775 series is not Intel's latest and greatest, it continues to support a wide range of processors, from Celeron to Quad core. It supports up to 8 GB of memory, 4 SATA 3 Gb/s drives, 8 USB 2.0 connections, 6-channel audio, and gigabit LAN. Quite an impressive and complete package for 60 bucks.

No complaints
Got this to make my HTPC after acquiring some parts from a mostly dead computer. It's powering a Core 2 Duo e7200 with 4GB RAM running Windows 7. I have no complaints about it what-so-ever. It's been stable, quick, easy to configure, etc etc... My only slight gripe would be with the lack of ports. No HDMI, no optical/digital out, few USB ports(4 on the rear, two headers). Of course this board is aimed more for the "corporate" user who needs a solid board but I'd still like the USB ports if nothing else... But those gripes aside, it's a great 775 board. One little side note, I've recently repaired a board very similar to this one (P5QL). It had about 5 bad capacitors on it, and given the bios revision, was only about a year old. I'm hoping this was from a faulty power supply but it's hard to say for sure. I'll update the review if I ever have probables with my board.

HDMI Does not work
The HDMI output from this board does not work for me.ASUS tech support has been slow and not helpful at all. I have XP and they are telling me to use a Vista driver.HDMI output to my Toshiba REGZA TV is fuzzy and off the left and top edges of the screen, not the correct resolution. The Intel utility will get the top and left side back on the screen but the image is stiill fuzzy. The same TV worked spectacularly at HDMI with a P5GC-MX/1333 motherboard with an ADD2 card until the disk controller went bad. I tried to buy another one but they were discontinued so I was sold this one as a replacement. Also it has dual monitor capability but both monitors show up as monitor #1 when you click the identify button. Nothing shows up as monitor #2. This is with a VGA monitor plugged into the VGA port and my TV plugged in using the HDMI port. Also when you set it up with an HDMI cable, the sound goes to the TV, I have a marvelous sub woofer system so why would I want to use the TV speakers? When the screen times out due to inactivity, moving the mouse does not wake it up using the HDMI port. I have to plug in the VGA monitor to wake it up.Plugging in and unplugging the HDMI cable form the TV does not make the usual ding dong plug & play sound like the VGA monitor cable does.I am stuck with a 1366 x 768 picture in the middle of my 1920 x 1080 screen with a 3" black border all around using the VGA/PC port because the TV does not support 1920x1080 thru the PC port.Skip this MOBO if you need 1920 x 1080 output thru the built in HDMI port.

Excellent board
This board had been excellent these last few months. The quality is excellent, it is pretty easy to overclock(although there is no voltage control for the CPU) it only had pci e revision 1.1, but my RX 460 doesn't complain. The only bad parts are the two ram slots(as good 4gb sticks of ddr2 are harder to find), and the bios screen is corrupted after adding the RX 460, functionality it seems fine, I believe it is just an incompatibility with the ufei GPU bios and the non-ufei main bios. This board is rock solid under Windows though. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great but cheap socket 775 board.

ASUS P5G41-M LE/CSM
The board is in good condition almost like new, except no manual book and the back panel plate. It work fine and running now can't throw away my old chip quad core, still good for back up computer, that why I bought this board. shipping arrived on expected.

Terrific board for basic build
This board is remarkably stable and easy to get up to a 20% overclock with the built-in profiles. The micro size makes it a lot easier than a regular board to install in a full size case. Don't plan on AHCI or Raid, so this board is not the best for use with an SSD. The built-in graphics give about a 4.5 on the Windows 7 Experience Index. Overall, a great value to recycle your socket 775 processor and DDR2 ram.

Good basic board
The ASUS motherboard I was using started to give me problems. At least I think the problems I had with my computer was caused by it. So I replaced that one with one that is compatible with my processor and memory. My problem was solved. My computer is working again, although this board has fewer SATA connectors than my old one.
