Q: How easy is it to clean? I have a crane drop currently and there's no way to clean the inside of the tank if it gets gross from water sitting.

Q: Is there any way at all to turn off the blue light?

Use the Honeywell HAC-504 filter that is ALL White instead of the Honeywell HAC-504AW that a has the blue surround... the blue light will go away.

Q: Is it supposed to have mist coming out of it? Mine doesn’t and I’m wondering if it’s working properly

You won't see a mist like you do from the ultrasonic humidifiers. The fast just speeds up the evaporative process, and introduces moisture into the air. I have both kinds in my house. The ultrasonic tries to push too much moisture into the air, and the carpet around the unit gets damp. It also puts that mineral dust all over everything. I really prefer the Cool Mist unit.
