Effectively cooled all rooms down vs outside temperature. It is noisy, so we decided to cool the bedroom right down and turn it off before we went to sleep. For people with houses that just do not cool down, this is a summer lifeline. At 21kg it is heavy but as light as these things come, although it's really easy to roll on the wheels so truly portable on one floor. It looks quite sleek and is small enough to put in a corner when not in use. I was worried, given this is on the cheaper end of the market and still expensive, that I would wish I'd spent more for a a better product. I'm glad I went for this one. For the price point I'd really recommend this.

Having trouble getting a replacement hose

in a isolated small room, and if you sit in front of it, then it works fine. In any other situation, you're better off saving up for a proper Airton unit. It's loud as hell, which is a shame considering it's advertised on the "quiet" category. It burns through electricity and was expensive before the bills went up worldwide... you'd be looking at £20 a day in the current climate. Buy a cooling mat instead.

Only tried it once to test it worked, but it took a 18m2 room from 24C to 17C in 45 min with the hose out the window and the curtains drawn over to try and stop warm air coming in. Noise wasn't terrible but probably a good idea to blast a bedroom prior to sleep then turn it down to low speed setting when you're in the room just to keep it ticking over.The unit looks pretty smart too.Delivery was only a few days and much faster than estimated. Downside is that there was no tracking available (the five digit Yodel number provided wasn't a tracking number) so we might have been out when it arrived, plus the delivery company didn't update Amazon that it was delivered so I now have an outstanding item on my Amazon order list. Minor detail but it bugs me!

Remote function useful, cooling functions are good but very noisy

The cooling system is actually good, in about 1-2 hours the room got cool and was quite satisfied in that regard.However the unit had massive water leak underneath it. After using it, the carpet underneath was soaking wet.Returned it to Amazon.If it wasn't for the water leak (maybe I was unlucky, but I've seen other reviews dealing with similar issues), it would've been a great unit given the price. (compared to other brands in the same performance category)
