Fits my 5000 Machine
A Vitamix will last decades, but the container can get really ugly looking. Mine also was 45 ounces and I needed 64 ounces. I thought this was pricey until it arrived, and was delighted that it came with the blade assembly. This time I am wiping the container down after every use so that it doesn’t get cloudy. I think this container is made of something easier to clean, too.

Great except for the handle
This is a genuine Vitamix part, so it is well made and very sharp. It fits my 5200 perfectly, and is as good as the original container in every way except one--I wish it had the larger non-slip handle of my original. I've tried replacement (non-OEM) blades for my old container, they just are not the same.
