As soon as I opened this package I was in awe. The materials used - handcrafted leather and beautiful thick vintage textured paper - make this worth every penny spent. I wanted a journal that had the antique, old fashioned book feel with a leather book backing.... This surpasses my expectations. I will be purchasing more for myself and gifts! Purchased this for our daughter before she left for her 1st NYR with our church. She was going to be camping in the mountains for a week.
