This sleeve has made art fun again!
Aesthetics:Beautiful design! The wooden pencil look really reminds me of childhood and makes working on art or writing a fun nostalgic experience. Personally, it puts me in a good mood to start my creative sessions off. I got the traditional yellow version but I would love to try other colors in the future to match my setup. I love the style and thick chonkyness.Installing/Removing:I saw that some people had issues with installing or removing this sleeve. However, if you do it properly, it only takes 15 seconds more or less. I think most reviewers who are struggling with this and giving it bad ratings are simply just not doing it properly. You do not need to rush or use much force to install or remove it. I will include a video with my review showing how easy it is.If you use a case for your iPad, you will probably have to either remove the sleeve in order to charge your pencil, or remove your iPad from its case to give your pencil a flat surface to charge on. The sleeve’s added thickness makes it much thicker so that it will no longer fit in regular Apple Pencil case slots. For me, it’s not a big deal, I just remove the pencil’s sleeve and set it to charge after each drawing/writing session. It does mean that if you plan to permanently keep the sleeve on, you will no longer be able to magnetically store it attached to your iPad. You will need a safe place to carry your pencil, or remove the sleeve, and carry that separately. Personally, I have a laptop sleeve with a pocket where I carry everything together so it’s fine for me.Practical Use:The silicone is very soft. If you’re an artist or a writer, you will appreciate the silicone. However, the straight line edges that give this sleeve the whole wooden pencil design can be a positive or a negative. If you hold your pen lightly or purposely use the straight sides as a guide to tell your fingers where to hold, you will love this sleeve. But, on the other side, if you are someone that holds your pen tightly or wraps your thumb around the pen, then this sleeve’s harsh edges will be pretty uncomfortable after a while. For context, I am using this sleeve with an Apple Pencil Pro 2024. The “squeeze” feature still works perfectly fine in all of my drawing apps. However, the double tap is a little awkward. My fingers are a bit thick so sometimes I “miss” the cutout for the double tap or don’t hit it directly and that can get annoying. I recently started using an 8bitdo Micro for all of my shortcuts, though. So I’ve stopped using the doubletap anyway. If you are someone that relies heavily on the double tap and you have thicker fingers, you might struggle to hit that little cutout. I think that with practice, you’ll get the hang of it, though. Conclusion:This sleeve is beautiful and makes the experience of drawing or writing fun and nostalgic. You WILL probably need to remove the sleeve OR your iPad case to charge your pencil. You will either love or hate the harsh straight lines of the design. That is something you have to have in mind before purchasing.

Once you put it in correctly it actually charges
At first I thought I had put on pencil sleeve correctly, it wouldn't charge, I was really disappointed but decided to keep it anyways.Turns out I had it on backwards. I thought the oval shaped hole was supposed to line up with Apple Pencil lettering but I was completely wrong. It charges perfectly fine now being turned towards the thinner part of silicon material. Maybe if I'd read the instructions I would have had better luck....haha!I love this pencil sleeve!! From time to time I have to readjust it but all in all it's hands down the cutest darn thing and makes holding on to pencil so much easier!!!

Great Comfort & Protection, but Tricky to Install
I’ve been using this case for a while now, and it has definitely improved my Apple Pencil experience. It makes holding the pencil more comfortable, reducing hand fatigue, and also adds a nice layer of protection against scratches. Plus, it looks super cute! However, installation was a bit tricky—it’s very tight at first. Also, make sure to follow the instructions carefully when putting it on, because if it’s not aligned correctly, the pencil won’t charge. I almost returned it before realizing my mistake!

Cute but hard to get on and off
This was so cute and once it was on I really liked the look of it, it did make the pencil easier to grip but it would not charge through the sleeve, so I had to remove it, cute idea but not practical for someone who uses their Apple Pencil frequently. Maybe cut the part out that attaches to the iPad to charge?

Cute and Comfortable!
Lightweight, cute and comfortable! :) It charges perfectly on my iPad! (And will for yours if you follow the instructions, I know I got a little mixed up the first time but now it works great!) Would definitely recommend!

Almost good…
The grip is way too excessively thick. It is also oversized. The pencil grip is too long for the pencil. The eraser cap is too big as well. It doesn’t fit properly and adds length to the pencil. When put together it looks great. However because of how oversized and thick it is, it will not fit properly when placed inside a case. The cover will not close all the way because the grip is way too thick. While it will still auto sleep and the pencil will sometimes charge, it is annoying to not have a cover that will fully lay down. The pencil will only sometimes charge because of how oversized it is. The extra cap length forces the pencil to not fit properly length wise which means it cannot properly align itself to always charge. The thickness of the grip doesn’t help either because you have to push and prod to get it to fit in the holder width wise. Sometimes the pencil will go in after some finagling and begin charging, but when returning to use the tablet later it will be half dead because at some point the pencil stopped properly aligning. It’s touch and go. The only way to really use this pencil is by having to take the grip off when storing it within an enclosed case or using it without an enclosed pencil case. Also the value for the price is awful. 14 bucks (at time of this review) and it doesn’t even include an extra eraser cap or anything. They could at least throw in a black tip to fit the aesthetic! Highly don’t recommend and regret wasting money on this. Just think of how little gas I could have gotten instead!
