I bought this stringer style to try it out since I lost some fish at sea when my nylon and steel string came apart on its own and lost my fish. I like this stringer but there is one improvement they could make. That would be to add a safely clasp to prevent the tensioned steel loop from opening up. I will have to build a solid wire safety loop to prevent the end from coming out from behind the trough.

I use this for kayak fishing and it has been a life saver. The chord is made of braided steel which made me feel much better about trusting it with those big catches. I don't have to worry about telling a fish story after a long day on the water because this stringer keeps my catch close and fresh!
