That was some good deep sleep!!!
Edited**Please do your research on this medication before taking it... This medication is not intended for a long time use.. (6-8 weeks) and can cause withdrawal symptoms if used long term.Having said that! This stuff is no joke! My whole body got relaxed, the only downside that I experienced is I got a little nauseous. But if you want some good deep sleep order this! I haven't slept that good in forever!!I personally bought this stuff can help me with my restlessness and the fact that it relaxed my body before I fell asleep was exactly what I was looking for.Do not let the fact that it smells bad deter you from ordering this... They are in capsules so it's not like a chalky pill and it's not like you're snorting this stuff... You smell it for a brief second as soon as you open the bottle...I have been really relaxed throughout the whole day but also I haven't really had anything to do today so I just been lounging around so that could have something to do with it too!Overall my opinion of this product is great I would give it an A it would be an A+ but like I said I did get nauseous but I do also take a lot of other medication so it could have been the interaction with my other medication

Dreamland (Without the Funky Smell!)
I've always been a bit wary of valerian root. The stories about its, shall we say, unique aroma were enough to keep me away. But desperation for a good night's sleep finally led me to NOW Foods Valerian Root, and I'm glad I took the plunge. This stuff works wonders, and surprisingly, the smell isn't nearly as bad as I feared. Here's why I'm sleeping soundly:Effective Sleep Aid: I take two capsules about an hour before bed, and they noticeably ease me into a relaxed state. I fall asleep faster and wake up feeling more rested. No Grogginess: Unlike some sleep aids that leave me feeling groggy the next morning, this valerian root doesn't have that effect. I wake up feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the day.Surprisingly Mild Scent: Okay, I'll admit it—valerian root doesn't exactly smell like roses. But the scent of these capsules is quite mild and earthy. It's not offensive at all, and it certainly doesn't linger.Trusted Brand and Quality: I trust NOW Foods, and their valerian root is no exception. It's a reliable and affordable option for anyone looking for a natural sleep aid.Gentle and Non-Habit Forming: I appreciate this gentle, herbal approach to sleep support. I haven't experienced any dependency issues, and it doesn't leave me feeling groggy like some over-the-counter sleep aids.

Cured my anxiety
I have an awful job that caused some pretty awful depression which eventually led to panic attacks. My first anxiety attack happened around March. It was in the middle of the night and I felt as if I was going to die. My hands and legs were going numb, my heart was throbbing so hard and I felt like I was about to have my chest burst like in the Alien movie, and I couldn't stop shaking. I was taken to a hospital and was told that physically I was healthy. I had an anxiety attack and it was all in my head. The doctor was a buffoon and dismissed me with 5 pills of alprazolam (generic Xanax) stating that I had this attack because I had 4 cups of coffee that day (which I needed to be able to keep working). So I stopped drinking alcohol, coffee, and everything except for water for 3 weeks, but the attacks continued. Every 2 weeks I had an anxiety attack while at work.I eventually found a psychiatrist who prescribed me venlafaxine. This drug caused extremely severe blurred vision. As someone who works on a computer all day, obviously, this wasn't acceptable. I had other side effects as well such as extreme drowsiness to the point where even depositing cash to a bank was difficult. So I stopped taking it and sought out another psychiatrist. This one gave me escitalopram. This one also caused blurred vision (though not as severe) but also caused erectile dysfunction, constipation, and insomnia to the point where I had 3 hours of sleep within 72 hours. At that point, I refused to see any other psychiatrist and decided to self-medicate which everyone claims is a bad idea but I had no other choice. I bought this product around June and started drinking chamomile tea and taking lemon balm pills as well. It's now October and the last time I took a Valerian pill was over 2 weeks ago. Both psychiatrists that I saw scoffed at it but it did more than the poison they prescribed me and this has no side effects. I haven't had a single anxiety attack since I started taking it in June but I still did feel sometimes "weird" like I felt something was going to happen. In those cases, I just took a pill of this and within 30 minutes, I'd be fine. This does work and I'd recommend this over seeking any "mental health professional" ever. I don't understand why psychiatrists in America aren't willing to look at natural herbs first before prescribing some awful "happy" pills that don't work. Do your research. An anti-depressant only has to pass 2 trials to be approved by the FDA, even if it fails the first 5. Anti-depressants are just as effective as placebos. Seriously, research it.I've always been a man of science and believed in taking prescription pills so no, I'm not into homeopathy or any of that alternative medicine nonsense. But this natural remedy actually works. Seriously, this pack of flowers in a pill for $11 does more than $300 Trintellix.

Dosage amount and smell
I have terrible insomnia, and struggle to get decent sleep. The directions say to take 2-500 mg capsules, but the recommended dosage is 300 to 600 mg. For several weeks now, I take one a couple hours before bedtime, as recommended, and sometimes it works. Last night, it didn't work. The smell tho? Ugh. It smells like vomiting. 🤮

Makes me sleepy, great before bedtime
Great for taking before bedtime, about 30-45 minutes prior to going to bed. I take this Valerian Root supplement with Celestial Seasonings extra strength sleepytime tea and Natural Vitality Calm Magnesium Supplement Gummies, and I sleep like a baby all night long and also fall asleep fast. When I put my head on the pillow I also don't think about anything, I just imagine and count each sheep or horse jumping over a fence until I fall asleep. I've been doing this for years and works like a charm every time. I fall asleep within 5 minutes on this routine and have the best sleep ever, which is very important to prevent dementia or brain related diseases later in life. I also sleep 7-8 hours every night. Try it! Trust me!
