I had originally bought the non rechargeable/ac powered Arlo system, I returned them immediately as I had read the reviews where the major complaints were the replacement costs of 4 batteries per camera.i.e., Times 3-4 or 5 cameras every few weeks.so after returning the original system I purchased the Arlo Pro with rechargeable batteries , and in addition I bought extra batteries and the battery charging station. I charged all the batteries up (6) total 3 batteries for the 3 cameras & 3 extra back up batteries so my cameras are never shut down.after a fairly easy installation & setup on my iPhone & iPad I was pleasantly surprised at the quality 1080p video, although I normally only activate the cameras at night when I go the bed, they’re on for approximately 7-8 hrs per night, I just recently checked the battery percentage on the most used camera and it’s at 68%, which I think is great.. since their only on for up to 5 minutes once motions detected. Very pleased so far.considering purchasing another camera to tap of four. Would highly recommend this system to anyone looking for a good reliable security system at a decent cost.

The camera is good

Camera arrived and didn't keep a charge. My power outlet in my truck runs constantly so wasn't a huge issue. 4 months later, it freezes, shuts off, and doesn't operate. I contracted the company 3 days ago and have had no response about the issues. Stay away, this product sucks. My roommate has the same camera and it also doesn't keep a charge and her power outlet doesn't stay on constantly so it only works while the car is on. Thanks but no thanks Aisdom!

I like to wait and use a product before I write a review. This unit was bought in September of 2017. So 7 months worth of use. It's been in the Florida sun, and the midwest winters for prolonged periods.1. The auto shutoff doesnt work. I've tried to set it multiple times.2. If left on in the car on a day over 60 degrees F it will turn off due to over heating.3. If left in a car on a day over 60 degrees f it will not turn back on until the temperature has come down to a level that the unit will work.4. The time and date will often become inaccurate. This could be because of the issue with heat.5. At times (with the setting set to loop) my card will become full and will not record anymore until I pull the card and reformat the whole memory.I tried to find reviews that mentioned anything about these flaws and found none. So one of two things are happening. I have a flawed unit, and bad luck. Keep two...people who have experienced these have already written their 5 star review of it during the honeymoon period, and thought to not update their reviews.I feel the second option is more likely.

I'm blown away by the quality of the video. That being said, this is my first dashcam, so I don't have any comparison. Installation was pretty easy on my RX350 since there is a convenient 12V outlet in the center console in an out of the way place.You may need to buy additional cable clips as they don't give you enough for a good install. All in all this exceeded my expectations.

Good quality video and easy to use. However, after turning on the fcws and ldws in settings (not listed in instructions. I found the answer in the reviews), the two systems were not very reliable. On a clear, well marked quiet stretch of highway, I crossed the center line and shoulder line mark with very unsatisfactory results. Not only that, but when the alarms did work, they were not very loud and had no way to turn them up. Good dash cam, but not a reliable source for the ldws & fcws safety features.

Okay first off this is a lot smaller than I thought it would be, and that is okay, if I am in a bad area I can easily take it and put it in my pocket when leaving the vehicle. It seems to be made of plastic and not heavy at all, also a good thing. I like that it came with 2 cords, one for if you have USB plug in your vehicle and a cig lighter, because my cig lighters in my car are disabled. I like that it is really so small and lightweight. I am going to make a video in several of our vehicles, I am not able to do it now as it is too late. Overall it is reasonable priced dash cam comes with required accessories and SD card. The down sides are the internal battery life is low and the date time doesn't update according.
