The assisted living facility has been using these for a relative and has no complaints.

This stuff works great for acid reduction. But, just a simple heads up - not a OMG!!! thing. If you have or are close to having high blood pressure check with your doctor before regularly using sodium bicarbonate. This worked so well that I was taking this 3-4 times a week before bedtime and my BP went up more than a little bit. I've stopped taking it and back to normal. So it is what it is... I have to find something else to help with acid reflux now... Hope this helps. BTW thanks to my Doc that figured this out instead of putting me on high PB medicine.

I've used this for years to counter the occasional GOUT flare up. This product reduces your blood and urine acidity. Left alone, I have issues with a PH over 7, this stuff get's me quickly to a reliable 5.9. One of the side effects of Calcium Based remedies is something called PsuedoGout. Which is a build up of Calcium deposits. The exact same sensation as regular gout. If you have your thyroid removed (which I have) they make you take calcium. While this product doesn't help with PsuedoGout, you know quickly what the problem is. If I feel gout symptoms and this doesn't get rid of it, it's the other. Saqly the only cure for PsuedoGout is to lay off calcium, and take the prescribed meds they give you. So, again, for GOUT, this works great!!!

Most of the time CVS is out of it. When they are in it is at least 2x the price. My husband uses it for his kidneys, so we can be without. It is the same brand he was getting at CVS.

Work well but they get very powdery
