Astell&Kern AK70 MKII Case, Black

Perfect fit, great color, quality material as befits the AK70 MKll

A very nice fitting case for my Astell & Kern DAP, the blue color is a nice touch with my blue player. Love the fit!

Well-made, but expensive. I'm not clear as to why the protective leaves the upper right corner unprotected. I have a nasty suspicion that if I drop the player that it will land on this unprotected corner and subsequently be damaged. The case has a very nice feel to it. It looks great and it allowed me to install a protective glass screen protector on the touch screen with no problems in relation to fit. Unfortunately, there is not much else out there in terms of cases and considering the cost of the player, even an expensive case like this is pretty much mandatory protection. I don't know how protective the case actually is, i.e., I don't know if it would protective the device against the shock of a drop. I think it is more to protect the player cosmetically. there is no internal rubber or other material for cushioning - its one layer of leather.

Fits beautifully. Use the USB cord to push out of the case to change the mini-USB. Buttons on side are very sensitive when case is on the unit.

I'm all about sound and I was delighted with the sound I derived from the AK70 M11 though I was dissatisfied with the feel. I simply did not like the sharp edges. Felt all wrong, until I purchased the case. Believe me I was hesitant to lay out the $ for it, it was expensive IMO. But it works perfectly and feels great to boot. It really gives a luxury feel to a luxury item. Without the case IMO the experience was marred by the tactile feel.

A little pricy for what it is. Could be designed better as it is very difficult to remove to switch out the sd card.Bottom line is it is overpriced, could be better designed...but it works.

Expensive, but good quality and excellent fit.
