When I first put my hand into this, I could sense the little knobs inside. And from experience with other automatic massager-type thingies, I expected that these would rotate and "knead" the muscles of my hand. It does not have that function. This device basically uses compression in specific ways to flex and extend the fingers and push on the muscles. It does this well, but I think it would be better with a kneading function.There are 3 programs, 3 levels of pressure, and 3 levels of heat, which do seem to offer quite a variety of sensation. And it's perfectly ambidextrous. You do have to position your hand pretty specifically inside in order to take full advantage of the motions, and I imagine everyone's hand is a little different, so it takes some trial and error.Overall, it's a nice break from lots of typing or writing/drawing, but it certainly doesn't replicate the sensation or effects of an actual massage.

This hand massager is easy to use and portable which makes it convenient for use around the home or in office settings. I love that you can adjust the intensity and type of massage. I enjoy the highest pressure setting most, and like that there is an option to apply heat. I have a lot of joint and wrist discomfort and the hand massager really helps alleviate those symptoms. There is a thumb hole for use on each hand and it is comfortable. Definitely worth the price!

First I really like the cordless aspect of this thing. Being able to charge it up and carry it around the house makes it very convenient. It's nice to have the different pressures available and the different modes. I like the light blue mode on the 'm' setting. It heats up very quickly if you turn on the heat and I think it helps for me. Highly recommend.

Pros:This biggest pro for me is that I am a former “power-lifter” and my hands DEFINITELY have arthritic pain shooting through them roughly 8-10 times per day. So I was looking forward to trying this. Using it twice per day the past 4 days, my hands have experienced pain relief. I did not use on day-5 due to my hands feeling “tired”. I don’t think many people would need it 5 days per week, twice per day. Today my hands feel fresh. No sharp pains thus far.The best setting is probably the blue setting for pressure. You have 3 settings(green, blue, and red/pink), light pressure, medium, and “tight”. There are 3 “waves” or motions(Also green, blue, or pinkish/red). You can set it for a sequence, circulation, or combination mode.Sequence will massage the front portion of your fingers, then move to the middle palm, and then to the rear hand using different pressure points. And, it stays on each area for a few seconds, pauses, then starts again. Circulation mode goes from upper-middle fingers, to palm, to the rear with continuous motion. I don’t remember it ever stopping except to reset and start over. Combination is like a whole hand massage that just hits the whole hand with various pressure points. The heat setting is okay. It has low heat, or high. Low heat is slight warm. High heat is much better if you like your hands getting very warm. Low heat is enough for me. Cons: This will take some getting used too when it starts to tighten for the massage. You also need to sit with your arm somewhat on an even level with the device. Do not try to have the device lower or much higher than your forearm. This will cause a weird feeling on the rear of your hand. I could see this being a game changer while using massage creams. Charging out of the box was pretty quick. I think it took 45 mins to charge. I’ve seen mention that charging from a dead unit takes about 1 hr 45 mins.

Bought this as a gift for my dad who golfs regularly and has some arthritis in his hands. He loves it - it heats up and the massage is surprisingly powerful. It has a battery so it can be used without a plug, but also works while plugged in. I wasn't sure what to expect as things like these can be hit or miss but I am really impressed and would recommend.

Excellent product - it has given me great relief for my arthritis in my hands, however the heating component stopped after 2 days. The cost to return this to Amazon is very expensive from Australia to US. I have chosen to return it despite being out of pocket because it was so effective for the short time I had the hand massager.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and ability of this machine. You place your entire hand in the machine (not in individual finger holes). You could include your thumb to be massaged also. There are nubs to push on pressure points while the gel pads compress the hand. It even extents and stretches the fingers and palm. Very good. I would buy this product again.
