These work great, are easy to setup, easy to program and perform perfectly all the time.
If you need a timer for whatever reason, these are the best. I have so many of these and I use them all over our home for turning lights on and off. Well of course that's what they're for, right? Ever set up a Christmas tree, get it plugged in and then when it was bedtime you struggled to reach the outlet to unplug those lights? I know I have. Sure, you can buy one of those step on switches that you plug your light strings into. But these make it so much easier to control and setup. There's a small learning curve to get it loaded onto your home internet, but once you've done one the rest are a breeze. Yup, your internet. No it's not going to slow it down and no it's not going to create issues with other wifi connected devices. In my home, I use not only these outlets, but I also use the wall switches, both single and three way switches. Also use the outlets that are meant for being outside in the weather from this same company. And they all work perfectly. Just to give you an idea I have at one time, mainly during the Holidays, I have at least 15 of these outlets around inside my home. Add into that 4 wall switches and another 4 outdoor weather resistant plugs. Take all those along with laptops, phones, speakers, tv's, tablets and I forget what else and I have zero issues with my 500GB internet speed. As for the plugs, they connect to your internet quickly, easily, install the app on your phone, laptop, tablet whatever to set them up and your good to go. Program them anyway you need, on at dusk, off at dawn, on or off at any time of day or night any number of days you want, and they work flawlessly. The outlets I have outside work no matter the weather, they're just as durable as you need. We have one that's located 60-70 feet outside, from our home and we can easily control it from inside our house. Did you leave the house and leave something plugged into a timer you didn't really want to have come on when you're not home? Just go into the app and turn it off, from wherever you are. Honestly I can't say enough good things about these plugs. The only scary part is when you have several of them scheduled to turn on at one certain time, like say dusk and all of sudden you're walking around and click, click, click, lights are coming on everywhere. Oh, and if your internet goes down, you won't have control of them through the app. But you can walk up to any plug, push the button on the side and it'll turn on or push the toggle on the light switch it'll still turn on. And they don't lose their programing, if the internet's not available, they will still turn on and off just as though they were connected to the internet. Then when your internet connection returns, they automatically reconnect, just like any other device you might have.

Reliable and Easy-to-Use Smart Plugs
The Kasa Smart Plug 4-pack is a fantastic addition to any smart home setup. Setup is straightforward and the plugs connect quickly to your Wi-Fi. Once connected, controlling devices with the Kasa app or via Alexa and Google Assistant is simple and convenient. Scheduling devices to turn on and off works perfectly, and the plugs retain their programming even if the internet goes out.The build quality feels solid and the plugs are compact enough not to block other outlets. Connectivity has been reliable for me, though occasional troubleshooting may be required depending on your network. Overall, they offer excellent value for the price, making them ideal for anyone looking to automate their home electronics and improve convenience.

Perfect for use with Alexa and setting up schedules for vacations
These are fantastic little smart plugs! They work with Alex and I can still turn the off/on without needing to tell Alexa to do so. I usually turn on my lights as soon as I enter my home, and it's dark, so I prefer this to quickly turn it on before I stumble. it's also perfect for when I went on vacation because I set my lights to turn on/off during a schedule. They look a little bulky so they aren't going to be flush with a wall (expect to give at least 3" worth of room for a standard plug) but they are a solid colour so they aren't an eyesore and blend into the wall well. The plugs do have a blue light that you may sometimes see particularly when setting it up the first time, but it honestly is not bright and doesn't flicker obnoxiously.

Believe the Hype!
Omg, I can’t believe I struggled with another brand, frustratingly setting them up after a few moves and didn’t know these existed! The Kasa smart plugs couldn’t have been easier to setup, literally took 10 minutes to set up 4 units! This is after struggling for 2 hours the other night setting up my previously used smart plugs, which had been a pain on the past 3 moves! I gave up and donated them to charity! Ordered a 4-pack of these smart plugs and won’t look back! The app is very user friendly. I travel for work, so the schedule feature is important to me. I have already tested the schedule and these also have an away feature (away turns them on and off at random times during a time period you specify), worked like a breeze!

Great product and brand but some connectivity problem with smart plug
Bought box of four mini smart plugs over a year ago and used one immediately. No problem connecting and worked seamlessly with Alexa. Extremely satisfied with options including scheduling, keeping track of time in use and other features. But when I tried to use the second one this year, could not connect. No telephone number for support. Spent an hour in chat box with tech support and it was useless. They had no clue as to what the problem was or how to solve it. Somehow, while on hold with tech chat support, it started working. Then tried to connect the third one, repeating everything I did with the second one. Spent several days with no results. Then tried turning off the TP link which is needed to communicate with plug, then turning it back on. Now it worked. Apparently, need to reload that link to cure connectivity problem. Once that was solved I now have three working plugs all doing everything I wanted plus more. It may also be necessary to discconect any vpn on your computer while trying to install this.I strongly prefer the Kasa brand. When it works (which is most of the time), it is very easy to use and provides multitudes of options. I will continue to prefer this brand in the future, notwithstanding that connectivity problem with the plugs.Note: now connected 4th plug, again turning the tp link off and then on again. Everything working.Update: same connectivity problem with Kasa switches. There is a telephone number to call for help but it is buried in dozens of pages of verbiage and fine print. Once I got through I was able to get the switches working as well. Subtracted one star for difficulty in connectivity and difficulty in contacting support, especially the difficulty in finding the support telephone number.
