I LOVE this speakerphone
I absolutely love this speakerphone. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now. I have been working from home since 2016 and have to constantly be on calls using a headset. And I’ve read that headsets can contribute to hearing loss with extensive use, and I was tired of mine leaving a line in my hair, and just tired of having it on my head for hours at a time. So I wanted to get away from the headset for all those reasons, and decided to try this. Others say they can hear me really clearly due to the multiple microphones. I have yet to have a single person say they can’t understand me. From what I can tell, they don’t even realize I got rid of the headset, it’s that good. And the r duplexing is perfect too. I really feel like I can speak naturally and have a two way conversation. Also, the speaker quality is just great. Way better than I expected. Not only do voices sound perfect, but music even plays quite well, which I wasn’t expecting.I also like that mine is just USB and has no battery in it that will go bad with time. Since it’s wired, I expect to get many years of use out of this. I’ve always had the best luck with Jabra audio products over the years, and this is no exception. I highly recommend this to anyone needing a speakerphone.

Jabra speakers are the best
I had the previous version since 2013 and worked great, it's my daily all day conference call device. I upgraded to this newer model for noise canceling and it works great. Love the sound quality and how clearly people on the other end can hear me.

Mics Stopped Working
I took the leap on a Speak2 40 and the mics stopped working. Glad I kept my 510 around. Not sure why the Speak2 models are not catching on faster as the Speak 510 has been around for years

Usually pretty good
I got this speaker because it's the same one I use when I'm working in the office (hybrid work position) and I wanted to keep things consistent. I would normally not spend this much just for a speaker, but this one works pretty well most of the time. I have had issues a few times where the speaker will turn red like I'm on mute when I'm not, or will stay green when I am on mute - and the mute button on the speaker itself won't work, but MOST of the time it works exactly as it's intended to. I do also have occasional issues with crackling, but only on my end - my coworkers say they don't hear it at all. For a speaker that cost almost $200 and is only 7 months old, I'd expect it to work properly all of the time, not just most of the time. When I use the speaker to record, it picks up EVERYTHING - so something to be aware of if you're going to use it for that purpose. You can hear my keyboard, cars driving by my house, literally everything.

Easy to Install and Use
I ordered this Jabra Speak2 40 speakerphone to use daily with my remote meetings. It's as easy as it gets to install. I plugged it into an available USB C port (cable supports both USB A and C) and then it was automatically recognized by Windows 10. That's it! From there, it has worked as expected with Zoom meetings and Slack huddles.I was previously using a Bluetooth headset since my webcam microphone was having echo issues and often difficult for meeting participants to hear me. The headset worked well, but I had to keep it charged and put it on every time it was needed. With this Jabra speakerphone, it is always there and ready to go as soon as I join or start a meeting. Sound quality is very good, and I've had no issues with echo, popping sounds, or disconnection. I have it place on my desk beside my keyboard. I asked team members about sound quality and clarity of my voice and received positive feedback with no issues to report. The light ring on the speakerphone gives welcome visual cues about status. It keeps a subtle white glow at ring top when not in use. When in a meeting and muted, the ring is red and then changes to green when talking.

Wow this speaker is great for calls, and even playing music too 🎶
TLDR: Wow this speaker is great for calls, and even playing music too 🎶 I am actually super impressed and highly recommend this product. Not only is it made of durable materials, but it has a lit ring around the speaker which looks classy, and it comes with its own awesome velvet travel case. It’s the little things that make this item so sleek and nice. The most important thing is, my calls finally sound more clear, and I sound more clear to my coworkers during zoom meetings for work. I am so happy bc for so long they were having trouble hearing me and vice versa! I can play music in between calls while working and it also sounds clear and beautiful. Not much bass or anything, but still good for listening for awhile! Now all I need to do is upgrade my video camera for calls and I think I’ll be set in the zoom world of work 🌎
