Used to build guitar pedals/ modify guitar electrics. Works very well.Tips if you want it to last: 1. keep the tip covered in solder - especially when you have just finished using it.2. don't use water/ sponge to clean - get a wire solder sponge - helps maintain a constant temperature.

Great at precision soldering. But as mentioned, the fine tip doesn't hold heat well so use thin solder and higher heat.
