Q: Would this router support an external MIMO 4x4 antenna?, I can see the the antennas on the router are detachable but say they are SMB connectors?

It's already 4x4 MIMO why do you want to attach additional it has 6 already. SMB?? I'm not sure what your asking. The antenna are for WiFi and cellular if you wanted to add more range you just add an additional routers in broadcast only so it picks up the current signal and pushes the same signal or use devolo homeplug and plug it into via LAN then and just use additional home plug APs or ethernet to get more connectivity. Hope this help As a device its a beast it can do it all. Use the ISP in modem mode attached it to this via LAN then add 2 nano sims pay as you go ad back and bond them.

Q: If my Samsung S22 Ultra 5g phone gets download speeds ranging between 100mbps+ up to 360mbps on EE 5G network will this router perform the same

Q: Has this model got the internal battery

No it hasn’t. The same router is available with built-in battery as model GL-XE3000 Puli. I have one of these but I had to purchase from the manufacturer website.

Q: Can this use both SIMs at the same time, or is it only for failover?

Think this router is aimed at mobile home users. If you go between a 4g & 5g signal you will not lose Internet with 2 sims I am using it at home with one sim got good 5g signal. Got 6 things connected to it getting 300 to 400 download speed with VPN connection Got unlimited data sim from Smarty £20 a month There is a video on YouTube review from someone in America Hope this helps!!
