The Equalizer 3 - DVD + Digital

In my humble opinion this movie is the best of the 3 Equalizer movies. Not that there is anything wrong with the other two, just that this one Denzel at the top of his game. Plus it reunites Denzel with Dakota Fanning from Man on Fire.

Another fine installment in a great franchise! It takes place in Italy, so there are quite a few subtitles to deal with though.

Good movie! Plenty of action! Am a Denzel fan, so good addition to my collection.

D. Washington is the only Equalizer who I believe could truly do his own stunts and thus the only one I will watch. Denzel W is ASSUME in this role!

I can see why Mr. Washington says he's through with doing this character. Now... the movie is STILL GOOOOOD! But since this is the third installment... it just doesn't have the freshness of plot that say the very first one had. After a while sequel movies lose their excitement and real interest. Mr. Washington is still GREAT as McCall and the action is bar none! But how many folks can be killed (no matter what the reason) and it still be fresh as far as the storyline goes. That is always the challenge. I believe this movie does well to hold your interest but I can also see where it may need to be "re-booted" with a brand new storyline and probably a younger lead. (No offense to Mr. Washington; for I'm one of his BIGGEST FANS and will watch him in just about ANY MOVIE!)

Who knew the math would work with this sequel?!!! Great plot, all the twists and turns to keep it exciting. It's hard to choose a favorite, which is unusual with a series of movies. My solution is just to marathon watch all 3!

The fact that this movie had come about so quickly took me by surprise. There I was in early 2023, wondering if a third The Equalizer movie was going to happen, and I checked online to see if a final one was possible. I was totally grateful for the two movies that had come already, and had them both on U.S. blu ray, and I didn't long for a third, because I thought it might be pushing it. But I learned that a third movie was in production or had just completed production. When I got around to seeing the trailer, I was even more surprised and I had high hopes for it.I knew that it would be different from the previous two. The original established the character brilliantly for the big screen, the sequel was far more personal, and I was full of anticipation for what a third movie would be like. From the trailer, it looked incredible. I went to see it on its autumn 2023 release and I loved it.It did go into a slightly different direction and it had a completely different setting, but the character and the story remained true and for me, it was a wonderful bookend to a great journey. I am so glad they did a third movie so quickly, certainly quicker than I thought, and that it didn't drop the ball at all or lose its way. Denzel Washington is one of the few actors who I trust to not ever let me down and have the integrity to keep things interesting and to deliver. This is probably the last entry for The Equalizer, but I cannot think of a better way to bow out and say farewell. Thanks, Denzel, you gave us such a great ride.
