Love it
I had bought a cheap ABS shell tent before, that broke the first time I ever drove with it mounted to my vehicle. This new tent is sick!!! Mine arrived in a beat up box, and the roof has like 5 dents on it. Also, the seal does not seal like another reviewer stated (I will be adding weatherstripping on the underside, and it should be great!). And only 1 boot bag. Am I complaining?? No way, it is so worth it!This tent, out the door was 1298.10. Cheaper then the Novsight website; their representative actually said they couldnt even match the price. Naturnest? Over 1400, and not Prime Delivery. Along with the shocks being mounted on the outside (will rust). So i want to pay over $100 more for 1 more boot bag, and rusty shocks? Ridiculous. Yeah it leaked a little bit I get that.Once you see this Novsight tent in person, you realize how easy it will be to add some more weatherstripping on the bottom half. "Oh but I shouldnt have to, this tent cost so much money" Well clearly you dont know roof tents then. To get an Aluminum hard shell like this, with the shocks mounted on the inside, for 1300, I would expect it wouldnt be perfect. I will post pictures when I add the extra weatherstripping. And after I test it with a hose. And yeah the locks/latches suck. I thought they were cool at first till I realized I could push them open with a finger. Will be changing out with a more secure, keyed lock. Stay tuned for updates.EDIT: I added new latches, which were adjustable and also squeezed the gap to where I didn't have to add any weatherstripping. I blew my engine on my truck so I have yet to actually sleep in the tent. But I open it to check on it all the time and there has never been a single drop of water inside. Still smells new inside 9mo later.I also made some crap and bolted some crap to the outside of it. There are rails and it's really easy to attach stuff to it. 13mm bolt backwards or you can get fancy and get the square nuts and short bolts.TO CLARIFY: I did drive around with this tent mounted on the truck for 100 miles actually. It did great, didn't fly off, didn't break from the wind, etc. I just have not actually slept in it. It does seem somewhat cramped because of the design but I still love the tent. Super worth.

Not great . Leaks.
This is my 4th rooftop tent. The others were namebranded tents. There weren't any reviews on this but I took a chance. Unfortunately this tent is not great. Before I purchased the tent, I asked a question and received no replies. So that should've been a sign. The rubber seal doesn't seal due to the struts making contact. We had a little rain last night and the water went right in to the tent as seen in the photo. Left a nice puddle in the corner. The "lock" isn't really a lock. You can unlock it from behind with your fingers. The 2" mattress is probably the cheapest foam I've ever seen with no condensation layer at all. Naturest tent which is another no-name tent similarly priced has much better mattress. And they even include 2 boot bags while novsight only includes 1.UPDATE 3/11/24: After about 5 trips with the tent, the ladder is no longer retracting. I've owned 3 CVT tents in the past and I've had 0 issues with the ladder. So... I'll end up spending another $200 to upgrade to a more reliable ladder. Every trip, the savings on the tent becomes less of a deal. But on a good note, the tent did decently in very windy situation at Thronehill Broom that was destroying all the ground tents.

Great quality, easy installation and much cheaper than branded one
Still trying this product but I like it already. I'm not a handyman but I don't want spend a lot of money to buy this product from local shops. I decided to give this new product a try. It tooks 2 weeks to receive this product after I bought. The truck driver moved the products to my yard. The product is very heavy but well-packed. The whole installation is very easy. What you need to do is install it on the roof bracket. I am grateful for the help from one of my friends, who is also looking to buy a rooftop tent.I tried the product in my backyard, and here are some findings: 1) The product is easy to open and close, it takes less than 2 minutes to open, and if not much stuff inside the tent, it can be closed directly by pulling it down; 2) the windows on both sides of the tent are a plus ; 3) the mattress inside the tent is soft and spacious, it can accommodate 2-3 people; 4) the root tent is a hard shell, no more worry of the rain.I cannot wait for the good weather so I can go out camping.

Just as promised
Arrived in perfect condition, box was undamaged, tent was in great condition as well. Definitely a two person, or three person job if you want it to be easier. Installed the tent on the top of my Wrangler with a body armor role cage style roof rack with 2” outer diameter metal cross bars and side bars. The mounting brackets used on the tent to secure to the roof rack could be better shaped or extras included to fit both flat style racks and rounded racks, however it feel secure either way. Installation was a breeze with the included hardware and simple directions. Can’t wait to test this out, out on the trails.

Leaks Everywhere and has holes in the seal
It rained yesterday. I opened the tent after the rain and the entire inside of the tent was soaked. The mattress, the material on the ceiling, everything was soaked. It looks like the rubber seal that goes around the tent has holes all over it for maybe airflow but this defeats the purpose if the product is supposed to be weather proof. I’m not sure if they sent me a defective product or if this is the way the tent was designed but it is NOT weather proof at all. You can see the small holes all over the rubber seal on the pictures I attached. Let’s see if Novsight responds to this review. If not, that should tell you everything you need to know if you are considering purchasing this product.

Awesome!!!
This product arrived early, A little heavier than I imagined. So it takes 2 people to get it on your roof rack. Still very simple procedure. Opens very easy, and it comes with locking hinges. Awesome!!! Buy one, much cheaper than other RTT out there, with the same value.
