I really love this laptop and would have easily given it 5 stars, even 10 stars. Unfortunately, there are 2 HUGE design flaws, so I can only give it 2 stars and probably wouldn't have bought it. It's like the HP laptop design manager said, "No, don't do it like that, we don't want it to be perfect. Our customers will have to deal with it".It runs great for my needs (coding, gaming, and business). It even runs games like FIFA22, FarCry6, TheDivision2, and GTA5 really well. Even Windows and Linux run great side-by-side (with WSL). It doesn't get hot, and the fans while gaming aren't annoyingly loud.So why the 2 Stars? First, I doubt the designers ever put the laptop on their lap. There are 2 rubber strips that run along the bottom of the laptop so that it grips a surface. The problem is the rubber strips are not rounded, but are sharp along the entire strip. This sharp edge digs into your legs, and becomes painfully uncomfortable. You need to wear thick blue jeans or have it on a lap-table.THE ABSOLUTE WORST though is the fact that for a $1200+ laptop with great specs, THERE IS NO KEYBOARD BACKLIGHT! I work in dark rooms all day and night. I still can't believe I overlooked the lack of this feature. It's 2024, and should be standard on all laptops by now. My old crappy slow $300 HP Pavilion had a backlight, but this $1200 HP Zbook doesn't.

Love this computer except when I plug in the hdmi cable for my projector it won't duplicate the screen. Never seen a laptop unable to do this. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem. There must be a setting I don't know about.
