I connect through a USB port, works fine ~ Just Say'n 🤷♀️.

Will the printer still print black if color ink runs out or do i need to replace the entire cartridge?

I found that a popup will appear that asks if you would like for printer to access other cartridges for printing. I have used this feature and copy always cam out good in black
