L'Oreal ParisElvive Hyaluron + Pure Oil Erasing Scalp Serum with Salicylic Acid For Oily Hair, 3.45 Fl Oz

I've tried so many different products for my scalp issues. I have rosacea and get bumps and "zit" like things on my scalp that are super painful and can just feel gross. My problem is I also have sensitive skin, seriously sensitive so I must be careful what I use. Plus I have allergies... so imagine my delight in finding a product with no weird ingredients that didn't break the bank. Many high end hair products with salicylic acid are very expensive and hard to find so when I saw this L'Oreal product I was skeptical of results and I was wrong, this is wonderful. I've used several times, putting the product on my scalp per the instructions and the bottle has handy measuring lines on the side for the treatment amounts. Massage it in, put a shower cap on so the warmth of my head helps it soak in while keeping it moist, then rinse and follow up with the Hyaluron Pure clarifying shampoo, then following with my hydrating conditioner. My scalp is the cleanest it has ever been, no dry flakes, no new breakouts, and the existing ones are calming down already. My hair is still soft, moisturized, and smooths perfectly with the use of my preferred styling product and flat iron. So many scalp treatments that work leave my hair crunchy or out of control, this doesn't.

My daughter has very oil hair and skin. I’ve been trying to find something to help her with this and I finally have! This works great. I did also buy the shampoo & conditioner which they all work well together. Not only does it clear up the oiliness in her scalp but also in her face since she’s washing her hair. The soap runs down her face as she’s showering. She doesn’t have as many oily bumps on her cheeks. Hoping this continues. If not I’ll for sure update this review.

Good to use every so often to help with built up

Second purchase, absolutely love the scent! I have a thick fine wavy hair type . This stuff is not thick really watery so I wasnt sure it would work but it really really does. Dont leave it too long it can dry you out if you don’t follow instructions. Decent value for money ONLY because it works so good. Theres like 2 MAYBE 3 uses in the bottle I believe. Still worth it if you feel like your scalp is oily and congested

The consistency of this oil is not bad. It helps with my scalp feeling clean as I used it before I shampoo my hair.

This really works! I have an oily scalp. I usually wash my hair every other day and this serum really helps cut back the oil. You let your scalp soak for about 5-15 minutes before washing your hair. It has Salicylic acid which is the same thing you use for controlling oil and exfoliating your face.

Very good hair product.

I have fine, oily, color treated hair so I had high hopes for this but personally I believe it was not worth the hassle. It just didn’t really do anything except add another step in my hair routine- I will try a few more times and update if I ever have better results 🤷🏼‍♀️
