How do you reattach the bungee cord end piece back on?

Well this is not as easy to explain without showing pictures. Ultimately each of the bungee cord would go in opposite directions to the open end of the clip and then you sandwich them together. What are the ages recommended for this item?

2-5 years is what we used it for. There are a couple other elements that you should consider. The child needs to be able to stand on the foot bar. Think about endurance for them and the length of your walk. Weight, back dependent! 35-40 lbs gets heavy for me. Regardless of age, those are two key elements. This was easier than riding on my shoulders or carrying the child. Better weight distribution, better engagement and shifting to look at things. The child is harnessed in so if the slump for some reason they aren’t falling. It pulls on your back but easy to recover. I really like and enjoyed the product.

What happens if your child slips off the bar?

The Piggyback Rider is equipped with a child harness to ensure the safety of your child at all times.
