Does this radio recieve hd- am broadcasts? plenty of the radios do fm-hd but can't seem to find many that say they do the am band in hd also cb

This radio receives AM HD stations. I can also confirm that it is able to decode HD only AM broadcasts. I can hear WMGG AM Tampa which went all digital in January. That being said a lot of the bigger stations who previously had HD stations on AM have shut off the digital signal.

Does this radio receive better reception on regular, distant am stations that have interference fade in and out? Stations are about 80 miles away.

I've tried out AM and from L.A. I was able to get San Diego Stations (125 miles away) pretty well. It's a nice little radio and I have it in my car for traveling. Thanks. Joe G

It does not come with a case. The case that is included with the C Crane skywave will work. If you don’t have one you can order it from the manufacturers website for $10.

What size batteries does this radio require?
