My bottle says 'safety of this product has not been determined' and 'patent pending'. But I read it's a patented product. Any reason for concern?

Every bottle of PFB says that. Even mine does. But since so many people have used it and it worked for them, I don't think it should be a concern. Anyway, I used 3 bottles over a course of 5-6 months and it did nothing but peel my skin.

No. Absolutely not. It is strictly for treating ingrown hair and the marks left by ingrown hair. It will ruin your face if you use it for your lips or dark circles.
