Not at all what I was expecting!
$12 for not 1 but 2 scrapers that included a few extra blades. I wasn’t really expecting much and for that price was just hopeful it would be sturdy enough to hold up for a couple years to do whatever scrapping jobs arose around the house before breaking and needing to be replaced. Instead, what I got was two different size scrapers with some extra blades of which some I really didn’t know what they were for. No, these were not at all what I expected; these are not made at a level of quality typical of most discount store scrapers that will last at least a couple years before needing to be replaced. Instead, what I found after I lookked it up and found what the extra blades were for, I discovered they are very useful and easier to use to do things that I had been using the wrong blade or wrong tool all together in the past. These scrapers are very well made and with the 2 sizes, with one even being extendable, I find them to be extremely useful in a variety of different situations. Theses scrapers have secure covers that when replaced between usage they will be safe stored in most any drawer as the razor sharp blades are securely covered with hard plastic covers. Finally, instead of planning on replacing these in a couple years, because of the quality of the materials and workmanship, I feel these well be the last set of scrapers I will ever need to buy. Hands down, I highly recommend these!

You will need this.
Over many years I have found myself using either a credit card, or a single razor blade (removed from my carpenter's knife) to remove various things like stickers or goo. I realized it was idiotic and dangerous to keep doing this without a proper handle, so I ordered this tool. (I didn't know such tools existed). Up until then, I had never cut myself.Oddly enough, within 5 minutes of using this amazing tool, I sliced my finger right open. Deep!! I was so eager to use the handle, thinking it was so much safer, that I just let my guard down and went to town scraping something, and it scraped off much faster than I was expecting. Whoops. So please -- be careful, and always try using the PLASTIC blades first!Anyway -- aside from my idiocy and impatience, this tool is excellent. It's very ergonomic and very good quality, very solid. Comes with a much needed protector, which is easy to remove. It can be hung on a hook. It can extend, too. The large one will easily fit inside most pant pockets. My only MINOR gripes:- It only came with ONE plastic razor blade, so I've ordered a separate pack of 100. The plastic ones get damaged pretty much after one use, so you will go through them much faster. HIGHLY recommend ordering a butt-ton of plastic ones.- I wish there was a small place on the handle itself to stow away the extra blades, like either on the outside of the handle or inside it. The little blade containers can be easily misplaced.

I should have bought these first...
Seriously, I wish I'd invested in these scrapers first. Originally, when searching for a work-safe scraper, I landed on those blue plastic handled blades and bought a two pack. The first handle broke the first time I tried to really use it, and the second one broke two jobs in. But these MulWark scrapers? A league apart!Right out of the package they immediately felt sturdier and stronger, like they will actually hold up on the job. The extendable head is metal, heavy, and adjustable to whatever lengths or blades you may need. Having an extra blade storage compartment included right in the handle is also going to make keeping fresh blades "stocked" incredibly easy!It may not seem like a big deal to some, but the fact that the second scraper is heavily angled is a game changer for me. Between the extension of one and the angle of the other, there are no crevices I won't be able to clear now.Thrilled to death with this purchase, and I look forward to continuing business with MulWark!

One of the best I have found so far
Very pleased with this product. I have bought numerous versions and finally found one that feels solid, the blade does not move around and is very comfortable in the hand. Only thing I would change is a cover that slipped on over the blade with a little less work. Other than that, I love it.

Worth the Couple Extra Bucks
I have a couple of different iterations of these razor blade holders. They were plastic and I'd rate them as "adequate" but, not the easiest to use especially loading and unloading blades. I used the larger one in this set to remove stripes from our fiberglass boat (along with some adhesive remover and mineral spirits.... used both as one stripe's adhesive was one kind and the other another kind and the adhesive remover from Rapid Tac worked great on one and the mineral spirits worked better on the other... whatever works! But, I digress...). Loading and unl0ading plastic blades was the best of all of the holders I've used. Best to loosen and tighten with a Phillip's screwdriver. A wing type screw top would simplify this, but, not really a big deal. The plastic blades available here on Amazon are pretty generic and fit this holder. I used 1 blade (both sides) for 4 - 30' 1" wide stripes. It's tedious work on a ladder but, it works well with the solvents. You do need a heat gun or hair dryer to get the process started actually removing the stripes, then I went back with the solvents for the adhesive cleanup again with the razors.

Great for scraping my electric cooktop
For forever, I used the scraper that comes with the Ceramabryte cleaning kit to clean my glass cooktop. It was hard to get clean (I worried about rusting) and impossible to change the blade on. I had a razor blade scraper from my previous renovation that I thought about using instead, but it was really difficult to change the blade. Then I found these. The blade is SO easy to change! It's very sturdy and so much easier to hold on to versus both my other scrapers. I mean the other scrapers weren't hard to hold but this just has such a nice handle! And since there are two, I'll have one for the kitchen and one for my toolbox. The old ones are going in the garbage.
