Simple Stunning Wedding Organizer: Planning Your Perfect Celebration, Revised Edition

Before purchasing this planner, I already knew that there will be a new version coming out Jan, 2011. It would be too late for me to buy it so I bought this old version anyway. It is overall very versatile and organized. You can actually rearrange the pages and categories around to serve personal needs. The material for this book is very good. And I find its "odd" size actually desirable.Here are some things that can be improved.1. There should be more pages for wedding accommodations, as well as Music/song choices.2. There is no business card slots.3. There are weekly to-do lists but there is no calendar for the recent years or next year.4. There can be more categories and tags. You will find in this book music, food, fashion, etc all together under "Design Workshop" category.5. There is a "Bride Attire Checklist" page but there is no groom's one...Most of these problems can be solved in one way: There are about 10+ blank note pages at the end of the planner. I have taken them out and inserted them into places I need more space. I even rearranged the categories like I want it to be.I have researched a lot of planners in stores and the internet. I personally don't like those chunky, heavy, and loosely glued planners. The moment i weight them I put them down. Imagine you have to visit so many different places to talk to vendors and have an extra canvas or plastic bag, just for a big planner book!

I made the mistake of not looking at the product dimensions before purchasing. While it is an adorable organizer, I think the pages are only like 8 x 8....so it's not going to be able to hold copies of contracts and catering menus like I expected without folding them up. Still a great little planner, but if you planned on sticking a lot of full size paper in there like I did - maybe consider if this will meet your needs or not.

This is a very nice, well organized planner; however, I have 2 (cosmetic) issues with it. 1. It's not full paper sized so I have to fold anything I'm going to put in it (somewhat my fault since I didn't check the dimensions) 2. The label on the front is actually part of the cover instead of a removable label, making the book seem a little cheap looking.Even with these issues I'd still recommend it to anyone planning a wedding.

I got this wedding planner for my sister when she got engaged, and it has already been very helpful! We will not be using everything contained in this planner, since it seems geared toward a wedding with a larger budget than my sisters', but it asks a lot of good questions and gives you a great place to start with the wedding planning!I'm glad I got this, and I would do it again.

I bought this soon after getting engaged and found it very helpful- and pretty! The tips and reminders in each section were very helpful and brought up points I never would have thought about (ie- when to obtain the marriage license). There is plenty of design space and pockets so you can add your own magazine ads, articles, photos, business cards, etc. A very good and affordable wedding organzier.

I love, love, love this book! I bought two to try and this one was the clear winner. The pockets are great for keeping things. It would make sense if they were big enough to fit 81/2 x 11 pages, but I like that its not too big, so I just fold my documents and keep it moving. Lots of great ideas and tips but most of all I love the layout. Its great for keeping track of all of my invitations, wedding party, vendors, ideas and designs. Highly recommend it.

I purchased this organizer for a friend of mine when she got engaged - I liked this one over others because it had blank pages to sketch out ideas (she is quite artistic) and included a lot of great organizer materials to keep her on track for her wedding planning. She told me how much she appreciated it - keeping everything in one place was great!

I bought this organizer as an engagement present for a friend and am REALLY impressed. This made the perfect gift...I wish I could have had it when planning my wedding!This organizer really lays out how to plan a wedding and is a GREAT step-by-step guide!It has pouches between each section for swatches, samples, etc. The only thing I wish it had was sample wording for invitations and/or a seating plan guide.

I bought this organizer, because I like Karen Bussen's designs, but I am not happy with this purchase.I found it impractical. I ended up having all my stuff on my computer, which was way more practical, cause you can easily edit, add or delete entries.When I tried using it I found crucial parts missing. The "budget" part for instance is a joke. When I wanted to file my bills in the organizer, I couldn't because it has an unusual ring binding system (3 close metal clips instead of the usual slightly wider two). It also does not help you to keep track of your budget.Other parts are too long and/or useless. What is the point of a written guestlist including all contact details? That might be romantically old-fashioned, but in terms of event organisation it is a desaster.The file is also rather heavy, so I did not want to carry it around with me - not good for a destination wedding.I would not recommend this.

I bought this as a gift for a friend. She thinks it's amazing (and she's the honest sort, not trying to protect my feelings). The quality is great and it is exactly as described. She got engaged two months ago and the wedding's almost completely planned. She had looked at a number of other products but this one far exceeded them. The only problem she found with it was that she was too nervous to write directly into it for fear of making a mistake as she wants to keep it as a memento!

Love the book! It only has what you really need to organize your wedding; no unnecessary clutter pages. I would highly recommend this book for your wedding! I gave it a 4 stars because the cover got a bit damaged during the shipping process!
