Best scrub ever
I genuinely don't remember how I stumbled upon this sugar scrub, but I've been using it for years now and try to make sure I always have two on hand so I don't run out. I use it at the end of my shower usually, after having washed my face with a Clarisonic face brush - very cleansing, but can be a little harsh on skin and tends to leave my face dry if used alone. The sugar helps polish my skin just enough without being super gritty or irritating, and the mixture the sugar is suspended in (don't know what to call it - gel? butter? idk) is absolutely fantastic. Super rich and moisturizing, makes my skin feel soft and supple and amazing. And it smells so good too! Back when I lived with my parents it got empty pretty quickly and it took me moving out to realize that my mom kept stealing a little 😂 And she's even pickier than me in regards to skin care products. Another thing to mention - back when I first started using this, I had pretty bad acne and this stuff didn't fight the acne but it didn't contribute either and it helped moisturize me without getting my skin too oily, and again the scrub was gentle enough that using it on my acne ridden face was fine. On top of that, I have eczema and get flare ups every once in a while. Hives and rashes and dry skin everywhere - it's really irritating, and the drier my skin gets the more painful it is. This stuff could be used on my rashes when they were bad enough that even just plain lotion would sting, and it would feel fine; it even helped get off any extra flakiness caused by my flare up without irritating the skin underneath. So this stuff is a miracle worker in my book. Literally my only complaint is that it keeps getting - moved, I guess? On amazon so I have to go searching for it in order to reorder. That, and the constant fluctuation in price, though I do understand that somewhat since it's from a foreign country and exchange rates are always weird. If you want a gentle polish instead of a hard scrub, soft skin that always smells good, and something to look forward to at the end of every shower, you should definitely buy it.

Was not expecting this
So when I started using this product I was expecting a western sugar scrub texture which has a much larger Grit and it's usually held together with enough sticky material to hold it onto your face. And it requires a very generous amount to cover a small area. What I actually got was a really nice smooth facial scrub with a texture very similar to when you cream sugar and butter together to make cookies. It feels very oily when you're rubbing it into your skin but it rinses off extremely well with no residue. You also only need about a small finger full to scrub your face wash time. Usually with a name brand scrub I would expect to rinse five or six times before I really get everything off or just give up and go do in the shower but with this stuff I can rinse twice at most and it's all gone it doesn't cling to your skin like other scrubs do and it leaves absolutely no residue. One of the other things I also look for in a sugar scrub is something that effectively removes the dead skin and flakes on my face. One of the problems that I've run into a lot is I use the super gritty hard core scrub that feels harsh on my face and once it's rinsed off it completely strips away all the oil in my skin which makes my face flake even more. But with this stuff it leaves my skin feeling super smooth and it doesn't create any dryness, as well as leaving it feeling fresh and clean and not like paper.I have to say overall I was very surprised at the quality and effectiveness of this product and this has been added to my daily routine.Edit* still love the scrub, but pretty sure I just got sent a fake. Do not but from "other seller's" the new one I received is soapy and bitter, I'm kind of afraid to use it on my skin

I liked this a lot
I liked this a lot. My skin type is dry sensitive - which means things that are not creamy scare the s*** out of my skin. But this was amazing! It is so hard for people with dry or sensitive (bless the souls that have both) to exfoliate. Most products irritate my skin, turn it red for days, or even cause damage to the skin. This product did not do any of that. The granules are not coarse and it feels nice going on. You're supposed to leave it on for five minutes and then rinse it off and I found during the five minutes I let it sit on my face that it dissolved a bit so I knew it wasn't just exfoliating, but also softening my skin. The best part is rinsing it off your face: your skin is sooo soft as you are rinsing it off, as if you're rinsing with lotion. My skin feels great, it smells good (not strong at all btw I'm just pointing out that I dig the sugar/honey combo), and I'm actually able to exfoliate now which has done amazing things for my skin. I will agree the jar is a little small, I've had mine for about two months and I'll probably need a new jar in another month or two. Overall, I'm totally down with this product and I think it's a good product for all skin types!

Meh. It's just ok. Doesn't really do anything. (UPDATED)
Update: Ok, so the way I was using it when I wrote my initial review wasn't the best. In the shower it quickly turned to goo and lost its grit. However, last night I cleaned my face, patted it dry, then used this as a scrub and mask (roughly 10 minutes)... And it was GREAT. The smell is still pretty yuck (hence the lost star), but this stuff really exfoliates and softens skin.Older review: The smell isn't good, and any 'grit' you feel quickly dissipates - only 2-3 seconds after you start massaging it into your skin, so you're left with a smooth, smelly, sticky cream you'll wanna rinse off pretty immediately. I'm going back to my regular exfoliant.
