Sturdy construction
Nice fit and finish. I use it to 3 pairs of headphones. Holds 2 on one side no problem. Weighted base excellent, doesn’t slide or scratch. The base has a lip to hold smaller objects

I use it for something completely different...
I was looking for a stand for my LED face mask, and this was perfect for it! I can put my face mask on one side, and my headphones or anything else on the other side. I even love the tray at the bottom because I put my teeth whitening pen there for when I do my LED mask. It's the perfect setup for a night routine station, and fits everything! Great design and very sturdy.

As every single other reviewer has noted, it's great EXCEPT the top piece is plastic!!!
** NEW update - Was looking to see what I'd reviewed and noticed this particular review. Here we are several years later, and I still haven't managed to break any of the plastic bits on any of the 6 or so of these headphone stands that I own. Good news, right?**Update - Ok, so I really think the top plastic piece should be sturdier as detailed below. That said, I haven't been able to find any other reasonably priced stands that hold 2 pair of headphones. So, I purchased two more of these stands. Still not convinced they won't break due to some mishap, but the price is right and there's always a chance they'll surprise me and work perfectly well for years and years.**Original reviewAs soon as I unboxed this and put it together, I was disappointed that the top piece - the part that the headphones rest on - was very flexible (some might say flimsy) plastic. I have nothing against plastic, but this plastic piece is so flexible and thin that it seems inevitable that it will break making the stand useless (or maybe only less useful, holding only one headphone instead of two). Breakage seems likely if (a) it falls off a table or shelf; (b) if someone inadvertently pushes on the plastic hangar tab too hard (like checking to see how flexible it is); or (c) if you carelessly drop your headphones onto the tab. Too bad, because the base and the upright/post are made of metal and I have no such worries about those breaking. This would be a 5-star product if the top piece were metal, or a sturdier plastic part.

Very sturdy and quite heavy enough not to fall over
The entire thing is made of metal hence it has weight which is perfect when it come to long lasting and able to hold the weight of my headphones which is already heavy enough. Love it

Great little dual headphone stand
Easy to assemble and the base is nice and heavy so your cans won't make it tip even if you only use one side. Bade is lined with a velvet material to protect your adapters, etc. Highly recommend.
