A must have for anyone who builds or works on computers
I have been building computers for over 20 years and this is the first tester I have had. Wish I would have gotten one a while ago. I was having some intermittent issues with one of my computers and could not figure it out since it would power on, but some drives would not work or take a while to show up in windows. also some weird USB issues even tho the computer would boot up and run, but then sometimes crash. I put in a spare lower watt power supply and the computer seemed stable, but I really needed to confirm where the issue was because it could have been the CPU, motherboard or PSU at this point. The directions were a little awkward and seemed contradictory saying. make sure to only plug one cable in at a time, but then saying its ok to leave in the 24 pin power, cpu power and pcie cables. Everything checked out fine so I started testing my molex and sata power cables. So one sata connector was flaking out and I had to seat it right for testing. At first I thought the tester was flaky. ended up that connector was flaky, Then testing other Sata power, one showed all 3 leds lit, one only ever showed 2 lit. It was all over the place and I need to test on another psu I had to make sure it wasnt the tester and what lights were supposed to be on. Testing a new spare PSU, every single Sata connector showed 3 lights and so I determined the old PSU is what had the issue with some flaky connectors or a bad power rail in the PSU. I am not sure since it has been in service a while and I never had any issue with it. But I was able to successfully determine my issue saving me the time and cost of trying to find or purchase other parts for testing. This item is great and something I will always test from now on because it is so easy to use.

Works well
Simple to use, just don’t try to test a 6+2 gpu cable in the 8 pin option, it’ll spark and shut everything down, only option is to use the 6 pin in the 6 pin female side

Shows False Failure with PG of 120ms or Less
The device shows accurate voltages but shows a false failure (Blinking PG display) if the PG signal is 120ms or less. PG signal needs to be between 100ms and 500ms which means 120ms should not show as a failure. This is a problem with both this one and the one from Fuhengli since they are both the same design but with a different logo.It is still a very useful device for showing the voltages. Just don't believe a blinking failure of the PG signal. The design should but updated since many of the newer Power Supplies will show a PG signal below 150ms.
