Actually, and this may not be recommended by the manufacturer, but adding a few drops of tea tree oil and a few drops of Afrin make it the only thing that has helped my post nasal drip.

And it may be worth checking out the qualities of xylitol online as it appears to be helpful in several areas including dental health and possibly upper respiratory congestion (which I use it for). It's also being included as an ingredient in some brands of toothpaste and chewing gum.
