Will it work on outdoor furniture covers? We are in Southwest, sun and hot in the summer, over 100F many days. And some rain in winter, too.

I used it in the sun and it got gooey and slid out of place. Not good for high heat.

used it to secure a smoke detector it worked fine .i do not know about the weight of the tapestry
