Works well!
Works well if your cat has anal gland problems. Add correct amount for weight of cat into his/her breakfast or supper.

Excellent
Our cat had a tapeworm and had a bad tummy afterwards. After treating the tapeworm we started giving him this. He had a much better tummy, and even started putting on some weight (which he needed!)

Purchased for my cat
The vet recommended I try this product for my cat. We had to build up to a full scoop over a few months so she wouldn’t refuse it band then mix the product into a lick-e-lix cat treat.I cannot say for sure that the product works as my cat still has to visit the vet to have her glands expressed, but I hope this product helps and means it doesn’t happen so frequently. My cat is quite a fussy eater and it can take quite a lot of time for her to eat this when mixed with a treat, however we will continue to give it to her.

Amazing
The media could not be loaded. This product has been a game-changer for my cat. He used to have recurring anal gland issues, but since I started using Glandex, I’ve noticed a huge improvement. Plus, it’s super easy to mix into his food, and he eats it without any fuss. It’s such a relief not having to deal with these problems so often anymore.

If your cat is overweight, read this…
After some research, I bought this for my overweight cat who has gland issues, and I also give it to my long-haired cat to help his digestion. We were giving them both pure pumpkin puree but wanted to transition, because while the puree worked great, it’s high in sugar and isn’t conducive weight loss. The Glandex works GREAT—both of them are having amazing movements now and are doing better than they were on the puree. Our overweight cat, who needed to be wiped every time she went to the bathroom about a month ago, no longer needs to be wiped at all and has not needed to see the vet or have her glands expressed at all.I will say, however, that if you have an overweight cat like mine (who’s around 7kg/15.5lbs), you may have to give them a higher dosage. At the suggested amount, the Glandex wasn’t working as well as the puree, and our cat became constipated. When I upped it from one scoop to about one and a third, she’s doing much better. It’s also extremely important to ensure that your cat is getting enough water with their fibre. Cats are bad at drinking water, and while wet food does have some water, it may not be enough to relieve constipation. I’ve found that adding a splash (roughly a tbsp) to their wet food with the Glandex provides enough water for them to have a good movement.Overall, I wish there was more in the container, but we’re really pleased with the Glandex and will be buying it indefinitely!

Cat won't eat it unless served with Tuna
I have previously purchased the pork variety of this product and my cat has eaten it with no problems. I have been able to mix it into any of his foods and he would polish it off with relish. However, having run out of my previous purchase, I found that all that was now available was the tuna variety, which apparently is especially formulated for cats. My cat is quite a fussy eater, but as this was advertised as tasting like tuna, and he loves tuna, I thought we would have no problem. I tried to introduce a small amount of food into his food, not the recommended daily dose. However, even when only giving about a quarter of the scoop in the pot, my cat would not touch it. I tried serving it in a few other flavours of his food and found that he would only eat it if it was in tuna.He now only has this powder on the odd occasion that I give him tuna, which is probably not enough to make a difference to his anal glands problems. I am disappointed that the previous variety is now unavailable and hope that the company consider feedback regarding the change of recipe. I shan't be purchasing this again.

Cats won't eat it
I have 2 cats who generally aren't very fussy eaters but neither of them will touch it. I have tried mixing it with water to make a paste, combining with treats and combining with their meat but no luck.Shame a smaller size isn't available because £27 is quite a lot to waste!
